Intel’s Discrete GPU Era Begins: Intel Launches Iris Xe MAX For Entry-Level Laptops

Today may be Halloween, but what Intel is up to is no trick. Almost a year after showing off their alpha silicon, Intel’s first discrete GPU in over two decades has been released and is now shipping in OEM laptops. The first of several planned products using the DG1 GPU, Intel’s initial outing in their new era of discrete graphics is in the laptop space, where today they are launching their Iris Xe MAX graphics solution. Designed to complement Intel’s Xe-LP integrated graphics in their new Tiger Lake CPUs, Xe MAX will be showing up in thin-and-light laptops as an upgraded graphics option, and with a focus on mobile creation.

Intel’s DG1 GPU Coming to Discrete Desktop Cards Next Year; OEM-Only

Alongside today’s launch of Intel’s DG1-based Iris Xe MAX graphics for laptops, the company is also quietly confirming that DG1 will be coming to desktop video cards as well, albeit in a roundabout way.

Though still in the early stages, a hereto unnamed third party has reached an agreement with Intel to produce DG1-based desktop cards. These cards, in turn, will be going into OEM desktop systems, and they are expected to appear early next year.

The very brief statement from Intel doesn’t contain any other details. The company isn’t saying anything about the specifications of the OEM desktop cards (e.g. clockspeeds), nor are they naming the third party that will be making the cards, or any OEMs who might be using the cards. For today at least, this is a simple notification that there will be OEM cards next year.

As for the market for such cards, there are a couple of avenues. OEMs could decide to treat the cards similarly to how Iris Xe MAX is being positioned in laptops, which is to say as a cheap add-in accelerator for certain GPU-powered tasks. Intel has baked a significant amount of video encode performance into the Xe-LP architecture, so the cards could be positioned as video encode accelerators. This would be very similar to Intel’s own plans, as the company will be selling a DG1-based video encode card for servers called the SG1.

Alternatively, the third party may just be looking to sell the DG1 card to OEMs as simple entry-level discrete graphics cards. Based on what we know about Xe MAX for laptops, DG1 is not expected to be significantly more powerful than Tiger Lake integrated graphics. However, as pointed out by our own Dr. Ian Cutress, it should be a good bit better than the Gemini Lake Atom’s integrated GPU.

Sadly, the OEM card probably won't be as fancy as Intel's DG1 development card

Baltimore Ravens Sign Ronnie Stanley To Five-Year Extension Worth $98.75 Million

The Baltimore Ravens have signed another core player to a lucrative long-term extension.

On Friday morning, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that the Ravens have signed left tackle Ronnie Stanley to a five-year extension worth $98.75 million. According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the deal carries $70.866 million in guarantees, and it has a maximum value of $112.86 million.

The $98.75 million deal is the largest for an NFL offensive lineman, per Spotrac. It narrowly beats out the eight-year, $97.6 million deal that Dallas Cowboys Pro Bowler Tyron Smith signed during the 2014 offseason.

After those two, Smith's teammate, Zack Martin, carries the richest NFL offensive lineman deal at $84 million. Among all offensive linemen, only Laremy Tunsil of the Houston Texans has a larger average annual value ($22 million) than Stanley $19.75 million), per Spotrac.

Ravens general manager Eric DeCosta also handed All-Pro cornerback Marlon Humphrey a five-year extension worth $97.5 million earlier this month. This comes a year after he signed 2019 trade deadline acquisition and All-Pro corner Marcus Peters to a three-year, $42 million deal.

The 26-year-old Stanley was drafted sixth overall by the Ravens in 2016, and he's quickly grown into one of the league's elite players.

RELATED: [Report] NFL Is Planning To Have 20 Percent Capacity For Super Bowl LV

Stanley earned his first career Pro Bowl and First-Team All-Pro selections in 2019, helping second-year quarterback Lamar Jackson win the MVP award. The Ravens also finished with the NFL's best regular season record at 14-2.

The Ravens have their top young superstars signed to long-term deals now. Up next, DeCosta will have to extend Jackson, whose next deal could easily reach $200 million or more, considering how much the market for quarterbacks has increased over the past year.

Baltimore is the NFL's best when it comes to drafting, and Stanley already looks like a future Hall of Famer. The future is very promising for a Ravens team that should seriously contend for the Super Bowl over the next decade.

"Big Brother 22" Winner Cody Calafiore Explains Why He Evicted Nicole Franzel

Cody Calafiore made the biggest move of Big Brother 22 at the most crucial time.

Despite widespread relief that he would take his ally, Nicole Franzel, to the final two, Cody wound up evicting her in favor of Enzo Palumbo. Nicole, the season 18 winner, became the final member of the jury house.

The move paid off perfectly. Cody received all nine votes from the jury to win the $500,000 prize - six years after losing to close friend Derrick Levasseur in the finals of Big Brother 16.

Cody and Nicole worked closely together from day one, and she strong believed that he was taking her to the finals. But Cody, who was also close with Enzo, decided to go through with the biggest blindside of the summer.

Had Cody chosen Nicole, she would have been the fourth Big Brother contestant to reach the finals twice. Cody, of course, became the third - joining Dan Gheesling (season 10 winner and season 14 runner-up) and Paul Abrahamian (the runner-up in seasons 18 and 19).

After his Big Brother victory, Cody was interviewed by Us Weekly. They asked him about his decision to cut Nicole, and Cody revealed that he only made the decision this week.

"(This) week. (This) week is when I decided because I would go through scenarios in my head. If Nicole wins and takes me, how do I think the votes are going to go? If I win and take Nicole, how do I think the votes are going to go? If I win and take Enzo, how do I think the votes are going to go? And so with those three different scenarios, like, I was racking my head and I felt like if Nicole took me, she would have beat me.

If I took Nicole, it would have been very close, could have gone either way. And if I took Enzo, I think there was more people that I was like, 'Um, I think it could be a toss-up.' Like Tyler. He could vote for Enzo. He could vote for me. Where(as), with Nicole, there were some people where I was like, 'They’re definitely voting for Nicole.' I felt more confident with that. So that weighed heavily me, the fact that she had won before weighed heavily on me.

And I wanted there to be a new winner, (not) a back-to-back winner on an all-star season. I wanted there to be a new winner too. That’s how, in my head I was envisioning the finale. And so the only way to really solidify that would have been to cut her. So as hard as it was, it was the right choice obviously, but in the moment, I wasn’t as sure as I am now, obviously."

RELATED: Cody Calafiore Is The Winner Of "Big Brother 22"

Cody also won the final Head of Household competition in season 14. Even though Derrick had played a stronger game and had better jury management, Cody decided to take him to the finals over Victoria Rafaeli. Many former players and pundits criticized Cody for staying loyal to Derrick, since he would have had a stronger chance of winning over Victoria.

Us Weekly also asked Cody about "how much" that move factored in when it came to evicting Nicole. Cody answer "So, so much" and didn't want to make the same potential mistake.

Cody had one of the greatest single-season performances in the show's history. He won four HOH and four Power of Veto competitions, and he was never once nominated for eviction.

Amazon Bought Borat Sequel For $80 Million After Plans For Theater Release Were Scrapped

Amazon bought the rights to Borat Subsequent Moviefilm for a reported $80 million, making the movie the biggest-ever Amazon Original so far.

The film was set to be released in theaters by Universal Studios but the coronavirus pandemic foiled those plans, leaving Amazon to swoop in and get it as an exclusive. The company paid a pretty penny for the movie, however, shelling out the aforementioned figure to secure a deal, per Deadline.

Previously: The Boys: If You Think Homelander Is Scary On-Screen, You Should See What He Does In The Comics

The publication reports that Sacha Baron Cohen, who both produced and stars in the movie, was bent on getting it out to theaters before the U.S election but, following the COVID-19 breakout, Universal was reluctant to take it on. He was given permission to offer it to streamers as a result, and Amazon won out with an $80 million bid.

The report doesn't name any other streaming services but it's quite likely Netflix and Apple also bid on the sequel. It does note that different versions were shown to the companies as Baron was still shooting during the pandemic.

Cohen is said to have wanted the movie released via stream as opposed to Premium Video On-Demand (PVOD) in order to get it out to the largest possible audience for no extra money. The movie went straight to Amazon's Prime Video lineup and was released on October 23.

It's considered to be a huge success for Amazon despite stirring up some political controversy, with one scene, in particular, portraying New York mayor Rudy Giuliani in a pretty disturbing bit.

The reviews were mostly positive, though.

Borat Subsequent Moviefilm is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video.

Los Angeles Dodgers Set Merchandise Sales Record After Winning 2020 World Series

The Los Angeles Dodgers finally ended more than a decade of postseason heartbreak and misery on Tuesday, winning their first World Series championship since 1988.

The Dodgers defeated the Tampa Bay Rays 3-1 in Game 6 to end their 32-year championship drought. The victory came less than three weeks after the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Miami Heat in the NBA Finals to win their first championship in a decade.

After the World Series victory, Fanatics executive chairman Michael Rubin reported that the Dodgers "set a new record for the first eight hours of championship merch sales" at Fanatics.

This passed a record that was set by the Chicago Cubs (2016 World Series), Philadelphia Eagles (Super Bowl LII champions in the 2017 season) and this year's Lakers, per Rubin.

The Dodgers lost to the Houston Astros in the 2017 World Series, and to the Boston Red Sox in the 2018 fall classic. Last year, they fell to the Washington Nationals in the National League Division Series, which only added to the notion that this team couldn't win the big one.

In the offseason, the Dodgers made a blockbuster deal that changed the landscape of Major League Baseball, acquiring 2018 AL MVP Mookie Betts and former All-Star pitcher David Price from the Red Sox.

RELATED: MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred Says Teams Lost A Combined $3 Billion In 2020

Betts, predictably, was the final piece the Dodgers needed to get over the hump. Widely regarded as the league's second best player after Mike Trout, Betts' leadership, humble personality and all-time clutch play was instrumental in helping Los Angeles end a World Series drought.

He was on the 2018 Red Sox team that defeated the Dodgers in the World Series, too.

Perhaps no team in the history of professional sports endured a longer period of playoff heartbreak than the Dodgers from 2008 to 2019: Four eliminations in the NLCS, three eliminations in the NLDS and two World Series defeats. 2020 was their year, however, and the team is in great shape to win even more championships with this group.

Micheal Keaton Says Jack Nicholson's Joker Made Him "Nervous And Self-Conscious"

Tim Burton's 1989 blockbuster, Batman, is widely regarded as one of the greatest superhero movies of all time.

It was the second live action Batman film to hit the big screens, and the first since the release of Batman: The Movie (which starred Adam West as the Caped Crusader) 23 years earlier.

So there was understandably plenty of hype around this movie, and it certainly lived up to those sky-high expectations.

Michael Keaton - who received worldwide fame for his work in Beetlejuice and Night Shift - was cast as Batman/Bruce Wayne. Jack Nicholson, who was established as one of the most prominent actors in Hollywood long before then, was cast as Joker/Jack Napier.

To say that Batman has aged well would be a massive understatement. Keaton set the golden standard for playing the Batman character, and Nicholson paved the way for future critically-acclaimed Joker portrayals.

Nicholson's performance on set was so strong that it made Keaton "nervous," the latter explained in an interview on Late Night with Seth Meyers (h/t Gaius Bolling of JoBlo.com).

"The only thing that happened when I did the first Batman was, I was very nervous and self-conscious about being with Jack, because he's so strong on film, you know, and it ended up just being great," Keaton explained. "We became pals and everything."

The film grossed just over $411.348 million worldwide, and the success of Batman led to three sequels.

RELATED: Michael Keaton Won't Confirm Rumors About Returning As Batman In "The Flash"

Keaton reprised his role in Batman Returns (1992), also directed by Burton. It starred Michelle Pfeiffer as Catwoman/Selina Kyle and Danny DeVito as Penguin/Oswald Cobblepot.

Warner Bros. decided to change up the tone of the next film, Batman Forever, aiming to make it more family-friendly. Joel Schumacher replaced Burton as the director, and Keaton turned down $15 to do a third Batman movie. He was replaced by Val Kilmer, who did the one film before stepping down. George Clooney replaced him in the heavily panned Batman & Robin (1997).

Keaton and Nicholson delivered an all-time iconic performance together in Batman, and it's impossible to guess where the franchise would be today without the success of the 1989 blockbuster.

Cody Calafiore Is The Winner Of "Big Brother 22" | TheRichest.com

Six years after losing in the finals of Big Brother 14, Cody Calafiore completed his Big Brother redemption story.

Cody was crowned the winner of Big Brother 22 on Wednesday night's finale, taking home the $500,000. He defeated Enzo Palumbo by a unanimous 9-0 vote, becoming just the second person to sweep the votes in the finals.

Dan Gheesling did so against Memphis Garrett (who returned for Big Brother 22) in Big Brother 10.

Cody pieced together perhaps the greatest single-season performance in the show's history. For starters, he wasn't nominated once all season.

He won four Head of Household competitions plus the Power of Veto four times. He dominated the entire game socially, making zero enemies and finding ways to keep the target off his back.

Cody put a cherry on top of his incredible showing by evicting his close ally, Nicole Franzel, on finale night. These two worked together on Big Brother 14, and they had a final two deal in place.

But Cody ultimately decided to take Enzo to the end, much to Nicole's surprise. It marked the first true blindside of the summer.

RELATED: Dr. Will Kirby Says He's "Unequivocally" The Best "Big Brother" Player Ever

Cody seemingly learned his lesson from Big Brother 14. That year, Cody decided to take his best friend, Derrick Levasseur, to the finals over Victoria Rafaeli. Derrick played a much better game that summer, and it was pretty obvious that he was going to beat Cody in the end.

Cody was criticized for staying loyal to Derrick, who wound up winning the $500,000 prize. But he made the most of his second Big Brother opportunity, becoming just the third person to reach the finals twice - along with the aforementioned Dan Gheesling (runner-up in season 14) and Paul Abrahamian (the runner-up in seasons 18 and 19).

Dan and Cody are the only players in the show's history to finish in both first and second place. Following his excellent showing this summer, Cody certainly belongs in the discussion for the greatest Big Brother player of all time.

Best Consumer Hard Drives: October 2020

Data storage requirements have kept increasing over the last several years. While SSDs have taken over the role of the primary drive in most computing systems, hard drives continue to be the storage media of choice in areas dealing with large amount of relatively cold data. Hard drives are also suitable for workloads that are largely sequential and not performance sensitive. The $/GB metric for SSDs (particularly with QLC in the picture) is showing a downward trend, but it is still not low enough to match HDDs in that market segment. Since the release of the last HDD guide, we have seen two updates in the HDD market. Seagate added 18TB models to their Ironwolf Pro and Exos lineups. Western Digital also introduced 16TB and 18TB WD Red Pro models building upon the retail launch of their EAMR drives earlier.

Xbox Series X Unboxed: Our First Look At Microsoft’s Next Gen Console

After over a year of official teases, naming, and plenty of performance details, Microsoft is on the cusp of launching their first proper new generation of the Xbox since the Xbox One launched in 2013. Set to be released on November 10, 2020. Microsoft is going all-out on their next-generation Xbox, and they have been gracious enough to send us one for review. Sadly, that review will have to wait until close to the 10th, but they are allowing some unboxing and photos today of the new hardware, which we thought we would share with you.

The new console is a somewhat radical departure from the previous generation, with Microsoft moving to a vertical tower design that's shaped, well, like a box. Dressed in a flat black finish, it should fit quite well in most TV setups, and hopefully blend into the background. Design is of course a subjective measure, but the Xbox team has stuck with an understated design. The console can be used either vertically or horizontally, but the asymmetrical Xbox logo on the power button will be pointed the wrong way if it is used on its side.

For the console's default standing position, the new Xbox features a round podium to keep it elevated, allowing more airflow into the device. And for horizontal use, there are four rubber feet on the one side. Unlike some previous gen Xbox models, there will be no accessories needed to change the orientation, which is nice to see.

The top of the Xbox Series X features a wide-open cooling grill, with some Xbox green highlighting that can be seen from the right angles. It looks pretty good. Cooling is also helped by some wide vents on the rear of the device. With 12 TF of performance, cooling was clearly one of the key design features, and there is plenty of room for airflow.

The console's dimensions are almost exactly a 1:2 ratio, with the short sides being 151 mm / 5.94 inches, and the long edge being 301 mm / 11.85 inches. Compared to the outgoing Xbox One X, it is much taller, as the former generation console was only 60 mm tall, but the square design means it takes up a very small footprint, despite having around 50% more volume than the Xbox One X. Though it does look a bit strange when laid out horizontally, since it is much shallower than you would expect a console to be.

With the new console comes a new revision of the Xbox controller. Comparatively, this updated controller has not changed much from the previous generation, and all of the previous-generation controllers will work with the new Xbox if you have a custom one you enjoy. The new design has some subtle changes, with more texture on the grips for better control, and an updated D-pad which now includes a full circle on the D-Pad which should improve usage. There is also a new share button in the center of the controller which lets you share game clips and screenshots more easily. The controller is still powered by two AA batteries, which are included, with Microsoft opting to keep selling the rechargeable kit as an optional accessory.

The console ships with a controller, batteries, a power cord, and a high-speed HDMI cable in the box. There is no power brick, as the power supply is internal, so the power cord is the same standard connector as shipped with the Xbox One S and One X. The rear of the unit also features a couple of USB ports for connecting storage and accessories, as well as an Ethernet jack, and the new Storage Expansion port for adding additional NVMe SSD storage without having to dig into the console itself. Somewhat sadly, but also likely to not be missed, there is no longer an HDMI input port, unlike the Xbox One range.

We will have a much deeper review coming up, so check back soon. If there is anything you’d like to see tested, let us know in the comments.

Dr. Will Kirby Says He's "Unequivocally" The "Big Brother" Player Ever

When it comes to debating the best Big Brother players of all time, Dr. Will Kirby immediately has to come to mind in the conversation.

Because he had the fortunes of playing on two seasons, Will made a strong case as the best to ever do it. So many other all-time greats like Derrick Levasseur, Hayden Moss and Lisa Donahue didn't play in two seasons like Will did.

Will won the second season of Big Brother, and he nearly went the distance in the seventh season, Big Brother: All Stars. He finished in fourth place that year after getting evicted by Janelle Pierzina.

Will earned the nickname "Puppet Master," as he completely controlled the gameplay in his two seasons. Not only was he a force in competitions, but Will displayed a phenomenal social game that no other Big Brother legend could match.

Ahead of finale night for Big Brother 22, Will was asked several question by Us Weekly regarding the game. One of those questions was if he's "the best player to ever play." And yes, Dr. Will does himself above all other Big Brother players in history.

"Please let me address your question with a question of my own: What other non-scripted television show cast member is still relevant nearly two decades after his or her first appearance," Will asked. "I laid the foundation for the anti-hero gameplay that fans relish today, I was the architect of alliances, and I’m well rounded in every aspect of strategic gameplay. "Moreover, I provided pure unadulterated entertainment enveloped in a comedic shell. On top of all that, I literally created the word 'showmance.' So, yes, unequivocally, I’m the best to ever play."

US Weekly also asked Will where Derrick, Dan Gheesling and other Big Brother champions "stack up."  In short, Dr. Will doesn't think any of them are close to his level.

"If I’m being truly sincere, my name is at the top of the list in block letters written with a black Sharpie," Will said. "Then there is a huge space on the page and Dan and Derrick’s names appear in blue Bic pen about halfway down (Dan’s just slightly ahead of Derrick’s). At the very bottom of the piece of paper are the names of all the other winners, lumped together written in unsharpened No. 2 pencils and broken rainbow crayons."

If there's one person who can truly challenge Dr. Will for the best Big Brother player ever, it's Dan. He cruised to the $500,000 prize in Big Brother 10, and he went all the way to the finals in Big Brother 14, losing to Ian Terry.

Like Will, Dan was a genius when it came to the social aspect, cleverly planning out his every move and often convincing his opponents to make the risky decisions for him. And Dan is only one of two houseguests to ever reach the finals twice; the other being Paul Abrahamian in seasons 18 and 19.

Launching This Week: NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 3070; 1440p Gaming For $499

It’s a couple of weeks later than originally planned, but this week NVIDIA is finally amping up the last of its high-end video card lineup with the release of the GeForce RTX 3070. Based on the Ampere architecture first launched back in September for the GeForce RTX 3080, the RTX 3070 is NVIDIA’s $500 take on a next-gen video card, incorporating a leaner Ampere GPU and otherwise shrinking Ampere down to something that’s a bit lighter on the wallet. Fittingly, whereas the RTX 3080 was positioned for 4K gaming, the RTX 3070 is being aimed at the 1440p crowd, a lower resolution that the Ampere card is very capable of handling. Reviews of NVIDIA’s Founders Edition (reference) card are going out today, with retail sales of NVIDIA and partner cards set to kick off on October 29th.

AMD in $35 Billion All-Stock Acquisition of Xilinx

After a couple of weeks of rumor, as well as a couple of years of hearsay, AMD has gone feet first into a full acquisition of FPGA manufacturer Xilinx. The deal involves an all-stock transaction, leveraging AMD’s sizeable share price in order to enable an equivalent $143 per Xilinx share – current AMD stockholders will still own 74% of the combined company, while Xilinx stockholders will own 26%. The combined $135 billion entity will total 13000 engineers, and expand AMD’s total addressable market to $110. It is believed that the key reasons for the acquisition lie in Xilinx’s adaptive computing solutions for the data center market.

AMD CEO Dr. Lisa Su

“Our acquisition of Xilinx marks the next leg in our journey to establish AMD as the industry’s high performance computing leader and partner of choice for the largest and most important technology companies in the world. This is truly a compelling combination that will create significant value for all stakeholders, including AMD and Xilinx shareholders who will benefit from the future growth and upside potential of the combined company. The Xilinx team is one of the strongest in the industry and we are thrilled to welcome them to the AMD family. By combining our world-class engineering teams and deep domain expertise, we will create an industry leader with the vision, talent and scale to define the future of high performance computing.”

Xilinx CEO Victor Peng

“We are excited to join the AMD family. Our shared cultures of innovation, excellence and collaboration make this an ideal combination. Together, we will lead the new era of high performance and adaptive computing. Our leading FPGAs, Adaptive SoCs, accelerator and SmartNIC solutions enable innovation from the cloud, to the edge and end devices. We empower our customers to deploy differentiated platforms to market faster, and with optimal efficiency and performance. Joining together with AMD will help accelerate growth in our data center business and enable us to pursue a broader customer base across more markets.”

Details

As part of the acquisition, Victor Peng will join AMD as president responsible for the Xilinx business, and at least two Xilinx directors will join the AMD Board of Directors upon closing.

Part of the enablement of the acquisition is AMD leveraging its market capitalization of ~$100 billion, and a lot of the industry will draw parallels of Intel’s acquisition of FPGA-manufacturer Altera in December 2015 for $54 billion. The high-performance FPGA markets, as well as SmartNICs, adaptive SoCs, and other controllable logic, reside naturally in the data center markets more than most other markets. With AMD’s recent growth in the enterprise space with its Zen-based EPYC processor lines, a natural evolution one might conclude would be synergizing high-performance compute with adaptable logic under one roof, which is precisely the conclusion that Intel also came to several years ago. AMD reported last quarter that it had broken above the 10% market share in Enterprise with its EPYC product lines, and today’s earnings call is also expected to see growth. AMD is already reporting revenue up +56% year on year company-wide, with +116% in the Enterprise, Embedded, and Semi-Custom markets.

The press release states that AMD expects to save $300m in synergistic operational efficiencies within 18 months of closing, due to streamlining shared infrastructure. The deal has been unanimously approved by both sets of directors, and is subject to approval of both sets of shareholders. The transaction is expected to close by the end of Calendar Year 2021.

AMD shares are currently down 5% before the market opens. A conference call will be held at 8am ET to discuss AMD’s Third Quarter Financial results and acquisition plans.

Marvel Reveals How The Super-Soldier Serum Turned Steve Rogers Into Captain America

Marvel fans are well aware of Steve Rogers' superhuman strength and the events that led to the scrawny but brave soldier turning into Captain America.

Rogers, played by Chris Evans, was administered the Super-Soldier Serum in Captain America: The First Avenger and eventually became the superhero we've seen in a number of films since then. However, the details, as it pertains to the serum and its process, hadn't been explained until now.

Previously: This Avengers Trailer Remade Snyder Cut-Style Is Mesmerizing

While Captain America isn't among the strongest of Marvel's superheroes, he's one of the most formidable and the Serum given to him by Dr. Abraham Erskine during Project Rebirth in 1943 managed to keep him alive while he remained frozen for an uncomfortably long time.

The substance has been detailed in a new book called The Wakanda Files: A Technological Exploration of The Avengers and Beyond. The book, written by Troy Benjamin in real-life at the request of Shuri (the sister of the Black Panther who is played by Letitia Wright), is said to "trace the world’s technological achievements from the era of Howard Stark and early Hydra studies to modern discoveries in quantum tunneling and nanotechnology, weaving together the stories, personalities, and technology that are the fabric of the MCU."

The Wakanda Files, available in paperback for $54 on Amazon, has detailed notes from Project Rebirth, which proved to be a remarkable success. As fans would have seen, Rogers emerged from a radiation chamber taller, quite well-built, and way more confident than he went in after being administered said serum.

The book goes on to describe the effects of the Serum (H/T Screenrant). Due to the changes, Rogers "burns four times faster than the average male of his age and build." The superhero "burns an average of 7650 calories daily," according to the files and, that's when he's resting.

When it comes to the physicals, "he has the ability to bench-press several tons" and could "comfortably run thirteen miles in thirty minutes." The Serum also had a profound impact on Rogers' brain as "his memory is near-photographic" and "his real-time analyzation and strategic planning ability are unmatched."

Also, "his previously debilitating physical ailments have been alleviated." The Serum "promoted muscular growth and development..." and "enhanced and strengthened his immune system"  while it "promoted change on a cellular level, creating a protective system of regeneration and healing."

The book claims "the Super-Soldier Serum... could be the cure to a variety of diseases and have untold potential"

Unfortunately, Rogers was the only one who was able to benefit from it as Dr. Erskine's work was lost when he was killed by Hydra.
