Alex Rodriguez Spent $4,000 For His Weight Loss Transformation

Alex Rodriguez proudly showed off his trimmed-down figure on Instagram this week. The dad of two revealed that he has been consistent with his diet and exercise, which he started in December 2020.

Rodriguez uploaded a side-by-side photo of himself from months ago and another photo taken recently. And the changes are definitely impressive.

“Left the Dad-bod in 2020. Anyone else determined to stick with their fitness goals this year? I've been consistent with my workouts and finally put down the chips,” he captioned the photo.

Rodriguez hired a chef named Kelvin Fernandez, who regularly cooked healthy meals for him. In fact, the chef also commented on Rodriguez’s post by saying that he’s happy to be a part of his weight loss journey.

According to Page Six, Rodriguez also invested $4,000 on his latest workout program that lasted nine weeks.

Last month, Rodriguez also shared a photo of himself while working out at the gym. And workout founder Rodrigo Garduno said that Jennifer Lopez’s former fiancé has was committed to his 54-day program.

“He was at the training on time, no matter how busy his schedule could be. That is the only way to achieve results,” he said.

Rodriguez’s workouts consist of HIIT training, cardio, and weightlifting. He is also given nutritional counseling and is banned from consuming alcohol for nine straight weeks.

The $4,000 program also offers recovery plans such as freezing cold cryotherapy and Normatec boots.

Last year, Rodriguez’s chef told Us Weekly that his client usually starts his day with some greens.

“There's always greens like spinach, cucumber, and celery to make green juice,” he said.

Rodriguez is also fond of eating egg whites, chicken apple sausage, and turkey bacon for break breakfast.

In 2019, Rodriguez joined forces with Lopez in doing a 10-day carb-free challenge that they managed to complete successfully. Back then, the couple didn’t consume carb-rich foods for over a week. After completing the challenge, the former baseball player reportedly indulged in his favorites: pizza, French fries, tacos, and more.

Around the same time, Rodriguez also revealed that he underwent an intense diet and exercise routine ahead of the Met Gala.

“I'm taking two yoga classes, and I'm running the stairs for an hour, and I haven't eaten in 24 hours. I did Sunday night baseball, I couldn't even complete a sentence I was so hungry,” he said.

Rodriguez managed to lose six and a half pounds before the event. And he also dropped from a size 48 to a size 44.

Kris Jenner Hits 40 Million Instagram Followers, How It Affects Her Revenue

Kris Jenner just hit another milestone on Instagram. This week, the momager celebrated hitting 40 million subscribers on the platform by uploading a throwback photo from 2012. Jenner revealed that the snap she recently uploaded was the first photo that she shared on Instagram years ago.

“Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your loyalty, support, positivity, brutal honesty, humor, and love, for all of these years. Over 14 years of making our show, the biggest blessing has been creating relationships with our followers and our fans, and I am so grateful that we have this amazing place to communicate, connect, and share our lives,” Jenner wrote.

According to Daily Mail, Instagram has been a lucrative source of revenue for Jenner and her six children. After all, they use Instagram to promote their businesses, as well as the charities and causes that are close to their hearts.

After announcing that Keeping Up With the Kardashians will be canceled after Season 20, Jenner cited social media as one of the things that motivated them to reach the heartbreaking decision.

While speaking with WWD Beauty, the momager said that the success of their reality TV show had to do with the power of social media. After all, sites like Instagram paved the way for them to share real-time content to their millions of supporters across the globe.

“When we first started, there was no Instagram or Snapchat or other social media platforms. The world has changed. Now there are so many, the viewer doesn't have to wait three or four months to see an episode. We can give them all the information anyone would ever want to know in real-time,' she shared,” she said.

According to Screen Rant, Jenner also earns $188,800 per post on Instagram. Back then, the reality TV star was just at 33.5 million followers. But now that she already has 40 million followers, she has become an even bigger social media influencer.

With this, more brands would most likely want to work with her. And the fact that Jenner also handles the careers of all her children means that she’s an asset to any company that she teams up with. Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, and Rob Kardashian also have massive followings on social media just like their younger siblings, Kendall and Kylie Jenner.

Even without these companies, Jenner will ultimately still make thousands per post while promoting her businesses and other professional ventures.

TikTok's Josh Richards & Griffin Johnson Launch 'CrossCheck Sports' Agency

TikTok star Josh Richards has teamed up with fellow Sway House member Griffin Johnson to form a new agency called CrossCheck Sports. The agency is only the latest business venture for the duo, with previous deals including the formation of CrossCheck Studios with actor Mark Wahlberg.

The TikTok duo joined two additional partners, fellow TalentX co-founder Michael Gruen and former Goldman Sachs partner Marshall Sandman, to form the agency. This is the second venture for the four young entrepreneurs, with the group having founded Animal Capital earlier this year. Richards has been co-hosting the sports and TikTok-centered podcast BFFs with Dave Portnoy, the founder of Barstool Sports.

Johnson is also known for his experience in finance, having earned a spot on Business Insider’s 29 Up and Comers Changing the World of Venture Capital. He has recently ventured into the world of sports as well, having served as co-creative director for Fan Controlled Football League. In addition, he is a brand ambassador and advisor for the esports conglomerate ReKT Global.

The goal of CrossCheck Sports is to focus on signing up-and-coming professional basketball players. The recruitment process will be led by veteran NBPA and FIBA certified agent Zachary Charles. Charles previously served at the Young Money AAPA Sports Agency as well as having been the CEO of 3PT Sports Management. Michael Gruen was also a co-founder behind the 3PT Sports Management company which served as a full-service agency for professional basketball players.

With goals set to become one of the top prospect agencies in 2022, Gruen stated, "don't be surprised if you see us in the scene for the 2021 draft". Gruen has been known for helping social media stars expand beyond their platforms and get closer to retaining a mogul status. His role at the agency will include a similar task, helping professional players who want to extend their career beyond the court and into the world of influencers and brand dealers.

According to Sports Agent Directory, there are an estimated over 3500 certified sports agencies. Some of those agencies have been led by financial moguls and major investors. Scott Boras is an agent who boasts over $2 billion worth of contracts to his agency. With a primary focus in baseball, he represents Prince Fielder, Jacoby Ellsbury, and Stephen Strasburg. Jeff Schwarts is another agent who specializes in basketball. He boasts over $1.7 billion in contracts, earning a commission of over $64 million. He represents clients such as Blake Griffin and Andre Drummond. These iconic agents have paved the way for Richards, Johnson, Gruen, Sandman, and Chase, but also provide heavy competition for the future of their agency.

The Daily Star reports that; "A 24-karat gold Nintendo Wii that was made for the Queen has been put on eBay for the whopping price of $300,000 (£215,145)." All it took was one fleeting moment during which time the Queen confessed that she enjoyed playing Nintendo Wii Sports Bowling. Everything happened pretty quickly from that point forward.

Seeing an opportunity to create something truly magical and make history in the process, gaming website THQ Nordic quickly took action and seized the moment by creating a console that would truly be fit for the Queen.

A team immediately began creating ideas about what sort of unique elements could be added to the console to make it superior and more desirable to the Royal Family.

The finished product was the ultimate creation of a 24-carat console that is literally worth its weight in gold.

Most people would think everything is better when it's made of gold. Unfortunately, after this incredible idea was put in motion and the pure-gold console was created, Buckingham Palace rejected the offer and refused to accept the very expensive gaming console.

A man by the name of Fillerup now has the console in his possession. According to NBC, "Fillerup, 32, said experts have valued the console at up to $1 million. He lives in the Netherlands and runs an online console database called Console Variations."

He's not asking for quite that much money though. In fact, he's willing to let the unit go for way under the valuation costs. $300,000 will be the sweet spot for Fillerup, who desires to purchase his own home with the funds generated from this sale.

Although it would be truly historic to won a gold Nintendo Wii that was legitimately created for the Queen, most people aren't willing to spend that kind of money on the unit.

If the idea still appeals to you, there are other, more crafty ways to own a gold-plated Wii. There are a series of lightly gold-plated units that are now for sale all over the internet for $500 or less, making it far more accessible to the general public.

The Queen said no, but for many other shoppers, a gold-plated Wii is a definite "yes"!

In 2016, the musician thanked his fans by funding the cost of planting more than 5,000 trees across seven and a half acres of former pasture. 120 different species of trees were included. The pop star named after his avid fan club – "Seo Taiji Mania Forest."

Meghan Markle and her husband Prince Harry have consistently shown their dedication to conservation and sustainability, so it's no surprise that their fans would be committed to a cleaner world, too!

YouTuber Jimmy Donaldson (AKA MrBeast) created #TeamTrees to celebrate his YouTube channel reaching 20 million subscribers. Their goal: to plant 20 million trees.

With the support of The Arbor Day Foundation, the group was able to plant each tree for just $1, meaning that for each dollar donated they were able to plant a new tree. This attracted the attention of the biggest names in tech and over 600 influencers and celebrities, including Elon Musk, Jeffree Star, PewDiePie, and YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki.

They reached their goal, raising $20 million dollars in under two months. MrBeast himself donated $200,002, keeping him at the top of the donation leaderboard.

When it comes to putting their money where their mouth is, few stars can compete with Leonardo DiCaprio on fighting the climate crisis. Protecting the Earth's forests is no exception.

The Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation takes protecting forests seriously. Their project to restore Brazil's Atlantic coastal forest is to actually acquire the land so that it can be allowed to flourish, and the rare plants and animals that naturally live in the forests can return.

DiCaprio also invests ecologically. One of those investments is a climate-focused digital bank called Aspiration. The startup allows users to fight deforestation with their credit card – they will plant a tree every time a customer swipes. The bank has been picking up support, with big name backers like Robert Downey Jr. and C Publishing joining its users – allowing them to plant over 1 million trees every year.

Silicon Valley's Thomas Middleditch To Pay $2.6 Million Divorce Settlement

Divorce is anything but a pleasing experience. The aspect of this difficult situation that many find the most egregious is paying for settlements. Silicon Valley and Solar Opposites star, Thomas Middleditch recently found himself agreeing to cough up $2.6 million to his now ex wife, Mollie Gates.

The settlement came after Gates began filling for divorce back in May of last year. The seven figure settlement is scheduled in payments that end in December of 2022. Among the funds, Gates also is to receive all personal assets that were shared since they tied the knot in August 2015.

"Thomas will keep multiple properties, include a house and a condo in Los Angeles, a Big Bear cabin, and a home in Canada," as stated by Extra Tv, "He’ll keep his residuals, business entities, as well as his car."

Stories of the couples struggles flooded media outlets with a great deal of attention being paid to their decision to keep their marriage open.

"Mollie and I have created our own rules, and compared to most of the people we've met who do this kind of sh*t, our rules are strict," the actor tells in a 2019 interview with Playboy, "We're not off on our own; we're together, a unit."

Though he went on to attribute their openness to "saving their marriage", he disclosed how it was not the case on a podcast called Last Laugh.

"be honest, it's a thing I wish I could take back. It was poor execution," he says, "But I've learned to keep things a little more close to the chest."

This comes after allegations of sexual misconduct against the actor. In 2019, at a goth themed LA club named Cloak and Dagger, Middleditch was said to have made unwanted sexual advances to girls in the club's "Black Room".

Messages from the actor were sent to the victim and shown in a Los Angeles Times article.

"I had no idea my actions were that weird for you," Middleditch messages the victim, "I know you probably want to just put me on blast as a monster ... I don’t expect you to want to be my friend or anything ... I am so ashamed I made you uncomfortable.”

The actor may have gotten off the hook with these allegations, but from his humongous civil settlement payment, it's clear that his first moments of bachelor life may not be as glamorous they seem.

Celebrity Cruises is releasing a brand new, luxury cruise ship into the water, and they're taking Gwyneth Paltrow along with them. The incredible vessel is going to be significantly larger than its sister ships and comes packed with a number of perks and incentives, many of which will feature Gwyneth Paltrow's beauty line called Goop.

This unique venture is sure to entice vacationers across the globe to indulge in this adventure on the ocean. It also exposes her brand to thousands of people that may not have otherwise been aware of the wide variety of beauty and wellness items that she offers. Daily Mail reveals that the ship bears the name Celebrity Beyond and it is poised to live up to its name by bringing Goop to the ocean. This deal is already demonstrating huge earning potential for both Paltrow, as well as Celebrity Cruises.

My team  is curating programming and fitness kits to add to Celebrity’s wellness the experience. I’m sworn to secrecy on the rest—keep an eye out for the details coming soon."

Paltrow is one of many celebrities being featured on this appropriately-named cruise ship. She joins the likes of Michelin-starred chef Daniel Boulud who is also breaking into the in-ocean market by opening his first restaurant on the water.

The ship boasts some really cool features such as a rooftop garden as well as a VIP section, and is slated to embark on its first adventure on April 27th, 2022. With a boat full of people aspiring to find the most opulent experience for their vacations, Paltrow is sure to engage a number of potential clients. She is currently preparing essential items that will help heal the mind, body and soul, and will be offering informative and engaging sessions for guests to enjoy.

It's unclear at this time if the Goop At Sea items will include select products or Goop's full line, but one thing that's for certain is that guests of this cruise line will surely be in for a relaxing experience full of fun products and healthy lifestyle coaching available to them as they indulge on their time at sea.

NVIDIA Updates GeForce RTX 3060 Ethereum Throttle; Updated Drivers Required For Future 3060s

NVIDIA this morning has released a new driver set for their GeForce cards, version 466.27. And though it’s primarily for next week’s release of Metro Exodus PC Enhanced Edition and a couple of other games, this latest driver drop from NVIDIA also includes an update to their anti-Ethereum throttle, which they first implemented in their GeForce RTX 3060 cards. In short, NVIDIA has tweaked future RTX 3060 cards to require this driver (or newer), which will prevent them from using older drivers that can bypass NVIDIA’s hash limiter. As a result, RTX 3060 cards shipping starting in mid-May will once again be fully locked down against running Ethereum at full (native) speed.

As a quick refresher, back in February with the launch of the GeForce RTX 3060 family of desktop video cards, NVIDIA implemented a novel throttling mechanism to artificially limit the Ethereum mining performance of the cards. This was done in an attempt to make the cards less palatable for miners – who have infamously been buying up cards in what is already a supply-constrained market – and thereby ensure more cards made it to gamers. Unfortunately for NVIDIA, this strategy worked for less than a month before the company accidentally released a driver without the full anti-Ethereum code in place, making it possible to mine Ethereum at full speed in some cases.

Now, having learned from their previous snafu, NVIDIA is taking another shot at locking down the Ethereum mining performance in future RTX 3060 cards by updating their hash limiter and preventing those new cards from using the older, broken development driver.

It also updates the hash limiter for the GeForce RTX 3060 and is required for products shipped starting mid-May 2021.

Unpacking this short (and somewhat ambiguous) statement a bit, starting with the next batch of RTX 3060 cards, which are expected to begin shipping in mid-May, 466.27 will be the minimum driver version required for these cards. Which, despite NVIDIA’s multi-branch naming system, is a newer driver than the compromised 470.05 released back in March. This driver has the updated hash limiter code, and thus, baring future unforced errors on NVIDIA’s part, it will not be possible to mine Ethereum at full speed on future RTX 3060 cards.

NVIDIA has otherwise been fairly tight-lipped on their anti-Ethereum code, but thanks to their March flub and efforts by miners to get around the code, we can take an educated guess at what NVIDIA is doing under the hood with these future RTX 3060 cards. Most likely, NVIDIA has blown an eFuse or two in order to require that newly-minted GA106 GPUs can’t be used with older BIOSes. By changing the minimum BIOS requirement, NVIDIA can have the newer BIOS enforce the newer driver requirement, with the driver in turn enforcing (or at least helping to enforce) the Ethereum throttle. All told, this is very similar to how hardware security works on consoles, where NVIDIA has some experience thanks to the Tegra X1-powered Nintendo Switch.

As for whether this attempt will fare any better than NVIDIA’s previous one, it remains to be seen. But even as things stand with current-generation RTX 3060 cards, NVIDIA’s anti-Ethereum throttle has largely held up; the March snafu has exposed that NVIDIA is already operating a “defense in depth” strategy with multiple checks to identify mining cards, looking for things such as cards operating on a PCIe x1 bus and cards not hooked up to monitors. So if there are any weaknesses, especially on the Linux side of things, then this will be NVIDIA’s opportunity to shore things up for their anti-Ethereum throttle.

Finally, NVIDIA has also informed us that these revised RTX 3060 cards will not be labeled any differently than existing RTX 3060 cards. Since the actual product specifications and functionality haven’t changed – and presumably the GPU hasn’t either – the revised cards will be sold with the same RTX 3060 branding as they have since their launch in February. So once these cards hit the market, it will end up being a relatively silent swap.

Many only see Niall Horan as a former member of the teen heartthrob boy band, One Direction. But Horan has spent his time after the band's internationally sensational run by investing his fortune into several business endeavors. The newest is a partnership with athlesuire company, Gym+Coffee!

Based in Ireland, Gym+Company produces luxury sportswear as well as other apparel items. While most company suffered to stay afloat during the height of the pandemic, they saw a sustainable boom with online sales increasing 1,000 percent. In October, the company opened a store in Westfield, it's first within a plan of many locations to be in the UK.

In efforts to expand the company's reach internationally, Horan announced his financial support for Gym+Coffee in recent a statement,

"I’ve been a fan of Gym+Coffee for some time both as a brand and a business," he says, "I was delighted to see they were an Irish brand with a serious team behind their operation. As I looked into it more, I started to understand their ambition and I’m delighted now to become part of the team that will hopefully bring the brand to a wider audience"

He also states in a promotional video on Gym+Coffee's YouTube channel that, along with his role as investor, Horan will also take on responsibilities as an advisor.

The relationship between Horan and Gym+Coffee began late last year when the singer visited the brand's store in Westfield during its launching weekend as the company's first location in the UK. There, he met with the company's founders and instantly hit it off.

"I was struck at how a young brand from Ireland was starting to make an impact on the international market," Horan says, "I realized there were some good synergies between us, and the relationship took off from there."

The singer bought a minority stake at a currently undisclosed amount. Mariah Carey is one of the most successful singers of her time, but the same cannot be said about her past relationships and marriages. Several years ago, the “Butterfly” singer dated Australian media mogul James Packer. And their short romance led to an engagement.

After confirming their relationship following a public appearance in 2015, the then-couple got engaged just months later. Packer gifted Carey with a 35-carat engagement ring with a massive diamond. And according to reports, the jewelry cost $10 million.

Ten months after they got engaged, People announced that Carey and Packer have called it quits. A year later, the media mogul said that Carey is a woman with substance, but their relationship was a mistake for both parties.

In 2018, Carey sold the engagement ring for $2.1 million as part of the financial settlement that she made with Packer after their split.

“A confidentiality agreement was signed, but the jeweler is currently selling it, and there's only one such ring. Mariah Carey's public relations people are desperately trying to keep the story from the press, and have threatened the jeweler with litigation if he discloses her name," the source added.

Back then, her publicist explained why it was necessary for the singer to get rid of the expensive ring.

Despite the exes’ tumultuous relationship, there’s no denying that Packer was the one that gave Carey the most expensive engagement ring that she ever owned.

For her first engagement, Tommy Mottola gifted Carey with an emerald cut diamond ring that was valued at less than $500,000.

By the time that the exes wed, Carey was just 23 years old and Mottola was 43 years old. In her memoir, the award-winning singer described her ex-husband as a controlling father figure.

Carey also said that she felt like they were in a prison-like marriage that lasted for five years.

While speaking with Cosmopolitan, Carey explained why she felt this way during her previous marriage.

“There was no freedom for me as a human being. You might want to picture a young child bride. There was a conscious effort to keep me as this all-American — whatever that means — girl. There was no freedom for me as a human being. It was almost like being a prisoner,” she said.

After their divorce in 1998, Carey waited 10 years before she tied the knot again. This time around, she wed Nick Cannon.
