Gwyneth Paltrow's Childhood Home Located At California Lists For $17.5 Million

American Actress Gwyneth Paltrow in the highly desirable neighborhood of Gillette Regent Square in Santa Monica, California has come on the market for $17.5 million.

In 1976, when Academy Award-winner Gwyneth Paltrow was just four years old, her parents, Hollywood royalty Bruce Paltrow and Blythe Danner, bought a home in tony Gillette Regent Square in Santa Monica, California. That home is now listed with Robert Edie of Compass, for $17.5 million.

The stunning two-story mansion was built in 1913, the first year that land in the Gillette Regent Square subdivision became available to the public. (The neighborhood is named after King C. Gillette, the man famous for inventing the safety razor in the early 1900s and who later became a land developer in Santa Monica.) Property records show that the home remained in the Paltrow family until it was sold in 2006. It was then purchased in 2008 by denim mogul Jerome Dahan, co-founder of the Citizens of Humanity and 7 for All Mankind luxury denim lines.

Listing agent Robert Edie of Compass praised the quality and craftsmanship of the custom home. He said, “In a market of overbuilt mansions that are undeniably starting to look and feel the same, 2020 Georgina elevates above the competition, offering a bespoke and meticulously crafted experience unlike anything I’ve seen in Santa Monica. It could easily be a cornerstone of any sophisticated real estate portfolio,” according to Forbes.

Mansion and swimming pool

The mansion is situated in a tropical oasis behind mature hedges and gates on a rare extra-large double lot. Inside and out, a powerful mix of high-end features and extravagant upgrades that are worth every penny take the property to the next level.

The glass-encased entry to the home is a moment unto itself and leads to an expansive living room with a fireplace, theater room and guest bedroom. The chef's kitchen with a marble island and Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances is drenched in natural light and includes a marble island and a built-in dining area where legends undoubtedly dined in total comfort and privacy.

Following an extensive renovation, the property now includes interior redesign of the living room and primary bedroom, new exterior landscape and lighting, white Venetian plaster throughout the interior, upgraded security systems, a new backup power generator system and conceptual plans for an addition above the garage and guest house.

The lushly landscaped garden with mature trees, meandering pathways, a fire pit and multiple outdoor dining options leads to an impressive Balinese-inspired pool and spa. A generously sized, two-story guesthouse offers a gym, dry sauna, bedroom and office. A three-car showroom with walls of glass overlooking the pool is fit for any proud automobile owner.

Upgraded systems that can provide backup power, including solar panels, backup generators, security cameras and electronically gated entries, make the 2020 Georgina the perfect blend of Old World charm and modern luxury on one of the most coveted streets in Santa Monica.

"In a market of overbuilt mansions that are undeniably starting to look and feel the same,” Edie said in a statement, “[this property] elevates above the competition offering a bespoke and meticulously crafted experience unlike anything I've seen in Santa Monica.”

Omega Has Released A $450,000 Chrono Chime With Blancpain After Six Years Of Developing

Founded in 1848, Omega is a watch brand synonymous with excellence, innovation and precision. The company has constantly been defined by its pioneering spirit, demonstrated by its conquests of the oceans as well as space. Since 1965, the Omega Speedmaster has been worn on each of NASA's piloted missions including all six moon landings and many of history’s greatest explorations beyond Earth.

As well as this, no brand is more actively involved in sports timekeeping. In addition to partnerships in golf, sailing, athletics and swimming, Omega has served as the Official Timekeeper of the Olympic Games since 1932. This role has not only involved the precise timing of many different sports and disciplines, but also the consistent development and evolution of the vital equipment that today’s athletes rely on, according to Swatch Group.

Omega has dropped a near half-a-million dollar Speedmaster with an all-new chiming chronograph complication inside.

RELATED: A Peek Inside Selena Gomez's $5 Million Encino Home

According to Hypebeast, The Speedmaster Chrono Chime sounds out the minutes, tens-of-seconds and seconds of elapsed chronograph time using three distinct tones generated by hammers hitting gongs.

The Split Seconds Chronograph Sound Out The Elapsed Time Like A Minute Repeater

You’d be forgiven for not necessarily thinking of Omega when it comes to chiming watches, however the brand did make the world’s first minute repeater wristwatch way back in 1892. But with no current expertise in the field, it turned to Swatch Group stablemate, Blancpain, to help develop the fully integrated and entirely new Calibre 1932 movement, something which took six years to complete.

The Olympic 1932 Chrono Chime

The movement – which is the most complicated Omega has ever produced and is also the first high-beat 5Hz version of its Co-Axial escapement – is at the heart of both the Speedmaster and the Olympic 1932, a watch inspired by the Omega stopwatches used at the first Olympic Games Omega served as timekeeper in 1932.

The Split Seconds Chronograph Sound Out The Elapsed Time Like A Minute Repeater

In addition to being a minute repeater, the watch is a split-seconds chronograph capable of timing two races that begin together but end at different times. It has a unique layout with running seconds at 6 o’clock and a 15-minute counter at 12 o’clock. The two chronograph hands are different colors for easy legibility. The main one is blued to match the hour and minute hands, and the split-seconds hand is bright red.

The watch also complies with Omega’s Master Chronograph certification, making it resistant to magnetic fields of 15,000 gauss, largely through the extensive use of gold components, which weigh more than 46gm in the movement alone.

The Speedmaster Chrono Chime is housed inside a 45mm case of Omega’s 18K Sedna Gold with a blue aventurine dial and 18K gold sub dials featuring an acoustic wave pattern representing the exacting sound of the watch.

The chronograph is activated using a pusher at the two o’clock position and the Chrono Chime by one at the eight o’clock.

The more everyday Speedmaster Chrono Chime looks like a modern wristwatch but echoes some of the unique design elements of the Olympic 1932 Chrono Chime. It, too, has offset pushers: split seconds at 2 o’clock and minute repeater at 7 o’clock. The dial has a traditional bicompax layout instead of a vertical display, and the tachymeter scale appears on the black bezel. The gongs surround the running seconds at 9 o’clock. The dial is crafted from an unusual blue aventurine Grand Feu enamel.

Although no exact figures have been given, it is thought only five of the watches will be made each year with a final price of $450,000 USD.

Both watches feature the new Caliber 1932 movement, which took six years for Omega to design with Blancpain (both are part of Swatch Group). The movement has 17 patents. The case back of the watch is open so you can admire the movement, which is satin-brushed and mirror polished, according to Forbes.

Donda Academy Shuts Down, Only For Kanye To Reopen It Hours Later

Kanye West continues to lose partnerships amid his controversial behavior, and now even his own private school is attempting to cut ties. However, hours after an announcement that Donda Academy was closing for the remainder of the school year, Ye re-opened the school.

On Friday, the school’s principal Jason Angell sent out an email saying Kanye decided to close the academy.

RELATED: Skechers Kicks Kanye Out After Showing Up To Headquarters Uninvited

“Dear Donda Academy Families- we hope this email finds you well,” the email said. “First, we would like to express our gratitude for the community of families and scholars that Donda Academy brought together. However, at the direction of our Founder, Donda Academy will close for the remainder of the 2022-2023 school year effective immediately. Thursday, October 27th. THERE IS NO SCHOOL TOMORROW.”

"Our leadership team will be working diligently to assist all families during this transition, ensuring that every scholar has what they need to succeed in their next community in a prompt and gracious manner," it continued. "We intend to begin afresh in September of 2023."

Donda Academy is an uncredited private Christian school in Southern California for pre-kindergarten to grade twelve students, which Ye revealed he opened in September 2022.

However, less than a day after the email was sent out, Kanye reportedly re-opened the school. Posting on social media, the rapper said the school would be open for classes the following day, unlike the email stated.

“Join us tomorrow morning in worship for the return of Donda Academy,” his message said. “With the help of our parents and community, we are back and returning with a vengeance!

It continued, “The children of Donda are going to change the world.”

Moreover, Kanye made another post saying he wants to expand Donda Academy to another state, and he called on fellow rapper 50 Cent to help. “We got Donda school designs we need to build with 50 in Houston,” Ye wrote.

Though classes may be continuing at Donda Academy, the school year isn’t going to be the same for students. Kanye’s recent antics – which include a slew of antisemitic and anti-Black comments – have gotten its boy’s basketball team dropped by a top tournament.

Kanye’s long-time partnership with Adidas was also terminated earlier this month. Other companies including Balenciaga, Footlocker, and Gap have also ended their relationships with the Yeezy founder.

Henry Cavill Is Leaving His $3.2 Million Role On ‘The Witcher’

Despite a huge pay day per season, Henry Cavill has announced he’s stepping away from his starring role in The Witcher, only to be replaced by Liam Hemsworth.

The third season of the hit Netflix show is currently filming and is set for release in 2023 (the second season debuted earlier this year). But season three will be the final one for Henry; Liam will step into the role come season four.

RELATED: Tom Brady & Gisele Have Finalized Their Divorce

Henry released a statement confirming the re-casting. While he spoke fondly of his time on the series, he didn’t provide an explanation as to why he was stepping away.

My journey as Geralt of Rivia has been filled with both monsters and adventures, and alas, I will be laying down my medallion and my swords for Season 4,” the statement said.

“In my stead, the fantastic Mr Liam Hemsworth will be taking up the mantle of the White Wolf,” Henry continued. “As with the greatest of literary characters, I pass the torch with reverence for the time spent embodying Geralt and enthusiasm to see Liam’s take on this most fascinating and nuanced of men.”

Liam also released a statement emphasizing Henry’s great performance in the fantasy series thus far.

“Henry Cavill has been an incredible Geralt, and I’m honoured that he’s handing me the reins and allowing me to take up the White Wolf’s blades for the next chapter of his adventure,” he said.

Liam continued, “Henry, I’ve been a fan of yours for years and was inspired by what you brought to this beloved character. I may have some big boots to fill, but I’m truly excited to be stepping into The Witcher world.”

Netflix hasn’t provided a reason for the re-casting, but there are several theories buzzing around.

It was recently announced Henry would be returning to the big screen as Superman. Forbes notes that the role is more high-profile, so it likely not only offers Henry a larger pay check but also more notoriety.

Henry was making a million dollar salary in The Witcher, however. He was reportedly paid $400,000 per episode in season one, totally $3.2 million for the full eight episodes. With the show in its third season (and given its popularity), Henry’s rate per episode is likely higher now.

However, there’s also been speculation that Henry disagreed with the direction of the show, especially since he previously said he wanted to see the show to its end so long as it remains loyal to the books.

In November 2021, amid The Witcher’s creator Lauren Schmidt Hissrich’s comments she wanted the series to last for seven season, Henry said he intended to stay for the full show.

“Absolutely,” Henry said. “As long as we can keep telling great stories which honor [author Andrezj] Sapkowski’s work.”

With reports that the show’s writers aren’t committed to staying true to the original books, Henry may have fallen out of love with the project, prompting the re-casting.

A Peek Inside The Extravagant $335 Billion Life Of The Qatari Royal Family

A long lineage of descendants from the Banu Tamim tribal confederation has given rise to the House of Thani, which is Qatar's ruling royal family headed by Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. Currently, the Emir of Qatar, or what is more commonly called the ruler of Qatar, is Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. They are among the richest royal families in the world. Just like any other royal family, this one also has a wealth of riches beyond anything an ordinary person could ever dream of and cannot imagine.

Several reports have stated that the Qatari royal family holds a whopping $335 billion in net wealth, which is a staggering amount in the world of finance. It's no surprise that the Qatari Royal Family is living their luxurious lives, buying real estate, superyachts, and buying sport teams.

RELATED: Inside Fulk Al Salamah: The $500 Million Superyacht Of The Omani Royal Family

It's everyone's dream to have a mansion, especially in the heart of London. It seems like Sheikha Moza bint Nasser Al-Missned, the former Emir of Qatar's wife, thought the same thing when she reportedly bought a Cornwall Terrace for $80 million. She then paid an additional $40 million for 2-3 Cornwall Terrace.

The luxurious 1 Cornwall Terrace spans 21,500 square feet and includes seven bedrooms, 11 reception rooms, nine bathrooms, beauty treatment spaces, and a leisure complex with a gym and heated indoor swimming pool. Meanwhile, the nearby 2-3 Cornwall Terrace offers six bedrooms and 14,000 square feet. According to media sources, the family intended to convert the five-story, Grade I-listed terraced buildings into a 17-bedroom mega-mansion worth an estimated $230 million.

However, not everything is as it seems as according to records obtained from the Pandora Papers investigation, the Qatari family evaded paying $18.5 million in stamp duty by purchasing the houses through offshore firms, according to the BBC. Similarly, the family purchased the property at 2-3 Cornwall Terrace.

One way to tell a person's status is by the car that they drive. When you're a part of the Qatari royal family, it's only natural for you to go only the best. The Chiron is one of the most popular automobiles in the world from the German then French manufacturer Bugatti. However, the supercar is not widely owned because of its high price and exclusivity. A member of Qatar's royal family is driving the Bugatti Chiron on one occasion.

However, this is not your typical Bugatti Chiron. Based on the Super Sport 300, the Chiron variant set the world record for the fastest car, reaching 300 mph (482 kmph). The Super Sport has a top speed of 273 mph or 440 kmph, while the Chiron Sport has a top speed of 261 mph or 420 kmph. Bugatti only produced 40 Divos, with costs starting at $5.08 million and growing dramatically as consumers ticked a few options boxes and made special requests.

This is not, however, the only Bugatti Divo possessed by a member of Qatar's royal family. Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani owned a Divo and was observed driving it around London earlier this year. He transported the hypercar to the United Kingdom alongside his Lamborghini Sian FKP 37 and Ferrari Monza SP2.

It's undeniable that people with money love buying extravagant boats. Hence, it was not surprising when a $348 million superyacht owned by the Qatari Royal Family was sighted parked in the UK in August. The Katara, one of the world's largest superyachts, was seen docked in Falmouth, Cornwall, near the luxury cruise liner, The World.

This isn't the only yacht in his collection; the Qatari royal family also owns the multi-million dollar cruiser, 'Al Mirqab,' which Forbes magazine named one of the most beautiful yachts in 2008 and belonged to one of the world's wealthiest men, Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, who chose Skiathos for another vacation.

Before sailing in the Aegean Sea's clear blue waters, all 50 crew members on the yacht were tested for the Covid-19 virus. Medical staff and a molecular analyzer are available on the yacht, allowing for continuous testing. Dubbed the floating palace, this superyacht contains 12 rooms, two pools, a gym, a movie theater, and even a Jacuzzi. Besides handcrafted furniture, the vessel is decorated with works of art by famous artists like Picasso and Van Gong.

Qatar's royal family loves sports, without a doubt. Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani has been known for promoting the desert nation's international reputation through sports. In addition to being the head of the National Olympic Committee, he oversaw Qatar's bid to host the 2022 FIFA World Cup, and he is a critical player in the purchase of the Paris Saint-Germain football club.

The Qatari royal family's member Sheikh Abdullah Bin Nasser Al-Thani purchased the Spanish club Málaga for $44 million in June 2010. During his visit to the Al Bayt Stadium Park in August 2022, the Emir also walked with students from primary schools in order to raise awareness about sports and encourage young people to adopt healthy habits. So, it is without a doubt that the Emir loves sport.

However, he isn’t the only Qatari royal family member who loves it—In September 22, it was reported that Qatari royal family member Khalid Faleh al Thani expressed interest in buying struggling Serie A club Sampdoria. Although Sampdoria consistently plays in Serie A, the club has suffered relegation in recent years due to instability.

A Look At The Rise And Fall Of R Kelly's Career | TheRichest.com

Born in Chicago, Robert Sylvester Kelly dropped out of high school to pursue his career in music. After signing with Jive Records, he released his albums in the early 1990s, which became a worldwide success. Along with creating his music, Kelly used his talents to produce beats for other notable artists. His songs sold millions of copies worldwide, and the singer earned multiple accolades for contributing to the music industry. While his music was on the rise, Kelly found himself amidst numerous legal and financial allegations that made him lose a fortune from his career. After being arrested on counts of multiple accusations, he now serves an irreversible prison sentence.

From being one of the best-selling artists who gained success as a singer and producer to becoming a blacklisted celebrity in Hollywood, R Kelly’s career took a hit after his heinous crimes came into the light for the world to see. Let’s look at the rise and fall of R Kelly’s career as a promising artist who got derailed.

R Kelly grew up with his mother in the south of public housing in Chicago, Illinois. He was instilled with Christian faith which would eventually influence a large part of his music. He wanted to focus on his music, and the dream led him to quit high school and sing in subways to make a living. According to Celebrity Net Worth, he participated in the talent show Big Break, where he won $100,000, which helped him kickstart his career. Jive Records signed him in 1990 and helped him release his debut album two years later.

The singer collaborated with the vocal group Public Announcement on his debut album and released Born In The 90s to positive reviews. His music with tender vocals won the audience’s favor by combining gospel tones with sensual lyrics. The use of hip-hop rhythms with tender lyrics established his signature music for the subsequent albums. As noted by Britannica, his 1996 single I Believe I Can Fly became his most popular song to date and won him 3 Grammy Awards. His other hits, such as You Remind Me Of Something, Bump n’ Grind, and I’m Your Angel, earned him worldwide stardom, and Kelly had more Billboard Hot 100 Top 40s than any other rapper in the industry.

His third studio album, R, became one of the best-selling albums of 1998 and sold eight million units. Kelly ventured into record producing and created sounds for other artists while working on his music. After Barry Hankerson introduced him to a 12-year-old Aaliyah, he found her talent unmatched and helped blossom her music career. As mentioned by the NY Times, it was later revealed that Kelly and Aaliyah got married in an illegal ceremony in 1994 when the singer was 27 and Aaliyah was only 15. The accusations did not stop his career as he continued producing music.

R Kelly went on to create hits for other artists and their songs. Some of his notable contributions include Stimulate Me by Destiny’s Child, Michael Jackson’s You Are Not Alone, Gigolo for Nick Cannon, and Britney Spears’ Outrageous. In 2002, an unknown source handed out a videotape of Kelly allegedly having sex with an underage girl, and he was charged with child pornography accusations. As the trial was delayed, he continued to release songs and reign on the R&B charts. In 2008, the trial freed him from the charges against him.

The released alleged sex tape was only the beginning of the downfall of R Kelly’s career as many charges came to light. Between 2002 and 2004, the singer was arrested in his Florida holiday home on 12 counts for sexually abusing a child, and the authorities even had the camera under evidence that contained images. While the bad press remained far from Kelly’s career for over a decade, 2017 was another year when new victims came forward. He was accused of running a sex cult wherein he entrapped women who would come to him to help their music careers. He ceased their phones and controlled their lives.

Between 2017 and 2018, women claimed R Kelly sexually assaulted them and detailed information about their non-disclosure agreements. As stated by BBC, a friend testified against Kelly, saying that the singer would look for women with younger features for dating. Countless more charges came to light for sexual assault, sex trafficking, and prostitution. After a trial between 2020 and 2022, R Kelly was found guilty, which ended his career.

R Kelly began his work in music as a talented musician who used his unique beats to entertain audiences. Along with helping other artists, he collected accolades for his contributions. The accusations and his wrongdoings have led him to countless court hearings that ended in June 2022. R Kelly was sentenced to 30 years in prison for sexually abusing women and children, using his status as a celebrity.

Richest Woman in Europe: Here's How Francoise Bettencourt-Meyers Made Her $75.3 Billion Dollar Fortune

Europe, as we know is a buzzing continent with different personalities and businesses from all walks of life. Becoming the richest woman in such a place is definitely no small feat or a walk in the park but Francoise Bettencourt-Meyers has proven that this is quite attainable. Francoise Bettencourt-Meyers may have been a billionaire heiress before, but her reputation prior to her inheritance being handed to her sure helped her in managing such wealth and prestige, growing it into a massive fortune such that it has placed her as the richest woman in the world is truly remarkable. What did Francoise Bettencourt-Meyers do differently? How did she attain this feat? Let’s find out!

RELATED: How Rolex Became One of the Biggest Watchmakers In The World

Via Wikimedia Commons

Francoise Bettencourt-Meyers is a philanthropist, French businesswoman, writer, pianist, and billionaire heiress but wait, there’s an icing on the cake here; she’s also the richest woman in Europe. She is of French origin and was born on July 10 1953 in Neuilly-sur-Seine, Paris, France. Francoise, just like her mother, was born as an only child to French Socialite Liliane Bettencourt and Andre Bettencourt, not forgetting to mention, her grandfather was Eugene Schuller, L’Oreal founder, one of the biggest beauty and cosmetic companies in the world today. Her father, Andre Bettencourt was a decorated French war hero who also served as the Minister of Foreign Affairs in France for 20 years, while her mother, Liliane Bettencourt inherited L’Oreal from her father, Eugene Schullers. Liliane Bettencourt was a businesswoman, she also owned about 21% of Nestle shares and was once the richest woman in Europe as well.

Via Wikimedia Commons

In 1997, Francoise Bettencourt-Meyers made her way into the L’Oreal board as a director. This was easy seeing that her grandfather owned L’Oreal and her mother was a major shareholder already. In 2007, Francoise Bettencourt-Meyers filed a lawsuit insinuating that her mother was mentally impaired due to the “The Bettencourt Affairs”. This was after she believed Francois Marie Bannier took advantage of her mother’s dementia and was trying to take over her inheritance. This made the court place the family’s assets under her guidance and that of her two sons. However, on the death of her mother in September 2017, Francoise Bettencourt-Meyers began to play much larger roles in L’Oreal as her mother’s fortune was passed down to her, and then she also became the chairwoman of Tethys Invest, the family company that owns L’Oreal. In September 2017, Liliane Bettencourt her mother, the sole heiress of L’Oreal and one of the major shareholders in Nestle died at the age of 94, leaving behind her massive fortune of about $46 billion to her daughter Francoise Bettencourt-Meyers. According to French law, Francoise Bettencourt-Meyers must have also inherited a minimum of 50% of her mother’s real estate assets. This skyrocketed Francoise Bettencourt-Meyers’s net worth and increased her assets as part of the real estate assets she inherited including a state-of-the-art decor-styling mansion in the wealthy suburbs of Neuilly-sur-Seine in Paris, France, and another mansion she grew up in which is close to the Brittany Coast.

Francoise Bettencourt-Meyers currently holds the largest amount of shares in L’Oreal which owns Lancôme and Garnier brands. Her shares in L’Oreal are estimated to be about 33.1%, this amounts to a whooping value of $107.5 billion and despite the 2020 pandemic, still raked in at least $38.2 billion in revenue in 2021. There have been speculations of her family company, Tethys Invest investing in hospital groups later but currently, Francoise Bettencourt-Meyers is the chairwoman of Tethys Investments which she founded alongside her family in 2016.

Francoise Bettencourt-Meyers didn’t only have a successful business career but she also became a successful writer and a published author. She is known to own several Bible commentaries, The Greek Gods, A look at the Bible, and other Jewish-Christian relations. Her book The Greek Gods won the Prix Des Lauriers Verts. Francoise Bettencourt-Meyers runs a philanthropic organization that was founded by her family. The organization caters to initiatives in science and art within France and in 2019, in conjunction with L’Oreal, Francoise Bettencourt-Meyers and her family decided to give out $229 million for renovations of the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris after it was ravaged by a fire that same year. During the 2020 pandemic, her family and L’Oreal donated about $25 million and also helped produce free hand sanitizers for the pandemic.

The Rami Malek Story: How The 'Bohemian Rhapsody' Actor Became A Hollywood A-Lister

Rami Malek has become one of Hollywood's biggest stars in recent years, and the Oscar winner has built $20 million from starring in critically acclaimed movies and television shows.

Born to Egyptian immigrant parents, Rami Malek grew interested in theater and acting during high school and decided to pursue it as his career. During the initial years, he faced multiple rejections and small-time acting roles but slowly received recognition after starring in guest roles in television shows. It wasn’t until he starred in the 2006 hit film Night At The Museum that Malek became a known face in Hollywood. Rami Malek has become a household name through his work on the show Mr. Robot and his performance as Freddie Mercury in Bohemian Rhapsody. He receives many prestigious accolades, including an Emmy and an Oscar.

After working hard in Hollywood, Rami Malek has been sweeping awards for his popular performances in movies and television shows for the last few years. From starring as a Pharaoh in Night At The Museum to becoming a bond supervillain, let’s look at how Rami Mark built his $20 million empire.

Rami Malek hails from Torrance, California, where he grew up with his parents, sister, and twin sibling Sami. While attending Notre Dame High School, Malek became a part of the debate team, and while his rhetoric was weak, he impressed everyone with his dramatic interpretations. It was then his teacher saw his ability to perform in theater. According to Celebrity Net Worth, Malek studied drama at the University of Evansville and earned an internship at Eugene O’Neill Theater. Since his dream was to enter show business, he moved to New York to make his aspirations a reality. After performing in several plays, the actor finally moved to Los Angeles to try his luck.

RELATED: How HIMYM Star Cobie Smulders Built Her $25 Million Fortune

While attending auditions for various roles, Rami Malek made sandwiches and delivered pizzas as part-time jobs. His attempts continued to fail, but casting agent Mara Casey got him a role in an episode of Gilmore Girls in 2004, which helped him gain momentum. A year later, he had small arcs on shows Over There, and Medium before Malek forayed into television. His breakthrough and debut occurred in 2006 with Night At The Museum, where he was cast as ancient pharaoh Ahkmenrah. He starred alongside Ben Stiller and Robin Williams and returned for its subsequent sequels, as noted by Collider.

Night At The Museum was Rami Malek’s saving grace as he never had to doubt his acting career second again. The actor continued working in television and movies, keeping a balance between his roles. Malek returned to television in 2010 with 24 and starred as a suicide bomber for its eighth season. His other notable TV credits include The Pacific, Alcatraz, Believe, The Legend Of Korra, and Snafu. Malek also had supporting roles in multiple movies, from the science-fiction thriller Battleship to the fantasy romance sequel The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2.

Rami Malek still needed to receive his most-recognized role in television which occurred in 2015 when he was cast as the lead in Mr. Robot. The show was a psychological thriller with Malek playing a computer hacker named Elliot. He won an Emmy for Best Lead Actor for the role. For the show's last season, Malek made $1 million per episode, but from his first big paycheck, the actor paid off his student loan, as stated by GQ. His performance in Mr. Robot earned him much praise from critics and fellow actors. It has also led Malek to transform himself for the role of a lifetime.

Rami Malek landed prominent roles in movies, but it wasn’t until 2019 that he became Hollywood’s leading man. While a film based on the legendary British band Queen had been in the works since 2010, many cast and production team changes occurred until 2016. Rami Malek snagged the role of the lead Freddie Mercury that year and began training to transform himself. As mentioned by People, Malek inserted fake teeth to perfect Mercury’s voice and practiced with a choreographer to learn the unique moves. His impressive performance made the movie Bohemian Rhapsody a worldwide success after its release in 2018.

The actor did a clean sweep during the award season in 2019, winning the BAFTA, Golden Globe, SAG, and Oscar for Best Lead Actor for Bohemian Rhapsody. Diddy Reportedly Surpasses Kanye West For Being The HipHop’s Third Billionaire

American rapper and record producer Diddy has now officially been declared a billionaire, surpassing Kanye West on the Hip Hop rich list shortly after the Yeezy mogul lost his billionaire status.

Jay-Z has stuck with his spot as the wealthiest hip-hop artist in North America with a net worth of $1.5 billion. Earlier this year Ye was in second place on the list of hip-hop’s highest earners with $250 million in earnings for 2021, but after his deal with Adidas came to abrupt end on account of his anti-Semitic comments, he’s slipped to third place in terms of net worth. He was reportedly worth $2 billion at one point this year. Now Diddy has the second-place spot, after trailing behind Ye in the past, According to a new report from former Forbes editor Zack O’Malley.

Kanye West, is facing consequences for his recent antisemitic comments, with a growing list of companies and individuals severing ties with him. The terminated business deals have resulted in his net worth dropping, and he is no longer a billionaire, according to Forbes.

Once valued at $2 billion, the rapper and designer now has a net worth of about $400 million, Forbes says, with that total comprised of cash, real estate and the value of his music. He also owns 5% of Skims, the shapewear brand founded by his ex-wife Kim Kardashian West, with whom he has four children.

One of the biggest financial losses was his $1.5 billion deal with Adidas. The athletic apparel brand is one of the latest companies to announce it has ended its partnership with Ye, after mounting public pressure over his hate-filled remarks. Organizations like the Anti-Defamation League, celebrities and high-profile figures including talent agent Ari Emanuel called on companies to stop working with him, per CBS News.

Diddy is hip-hop’s third billionaire with a net worth of $1 billion. His Cîroc partnership with Diageo is said to account for the bulk of his wealth, but other assets such as Revolt and DeLeón Tequila have certainly helped; last year he made $90 million.

Ye’s net worth is estimated to be sitting around $500 million now, and the loss of his Adidas deal is the biggest contributor to his decline. Diddy and Ye actually traded barbs on Instagram earlier this month on account of the “White Lives Matter” t-shirt controversy.

Due to the retention of his 5 percent stake in Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS shapewear line, and rights to his master recordings and music publishing, Ye remains wealthy. He also still owns the Yeezy brand, even though Adidas remains “the sole owner of all design rights to existing products as well previous new colorways under the partnership,” per Complex.

“A lot of blogs took that as I had become Hip Hop’s first billionaire. That is not the case,” he explained. He went on to say that “the race is still on,” adding that “any of you hustlers out there can come and get it.”

“It really ain’t about the money at the end of the day,” he said. “It’s about the impact that you have on the world.”

As Kanye West has continued to experience financial and social fallout as a result of his bigoted comments about Jewish people, Diddy was actually at one point a target of Ye’s agitated fervor.

Diddy went on The Breakfast Club and said he disagreed with Kanye’s choice to don a White Lives Matter T-shirt during Paris Fashion Week, which led to Kanye calling him a “fed.”

“I didn’t like our convo,” Kanye wrote on Instagram. “I’m selling these tees Nobody gets in between me and my money This is my grandfather texting you now Never call me with no bullshit like that again unless you ready to green light me Cause anybody who got on that tee is me.”

The “Gotta Move On” rapper then attempted to text Ye directly, writing, “Let’s stop playing these internet games. And don’t feel threatened. You’ll be fine. Just love.”

Ye replied: “This ain’t a game Ima use you as an example to show the Jewish people that told you to call me that no one can threaten or influence me I told you this was war Now gone get you some business.”

Meanwhile, Diddy recently unleashed numerous remixes of his new “Gotta Move On” single, including a “Queen Remix” that features Ashanti addressing Irv Gotti’s inebriated comments he had made about their past relationship on Drink Champs.

Kanye West Allegedly Facing A New $4.5 Million Lawsuit Filed By His Former Business Manager

American producer, rapper, and fashion designer Kanye West is facing a $4.5 million lawsuit from his former business manager.

Celebrity accountant and business manager Thomas St. John filed a lawsuit against the artist formerly known as Kanye West over an alleged breach of their agreed monthly fees. During a recent meeting between the two of them, St. John claimed that Ye got “aggressive” with him and has since stopped paying the money he agreed to pay.

Per the lawsuit, the business manager was approached by the multi-hyphenate earlier this year to provide business management, taxation services, and accounting. After they met in March to discuss doing business together, Ye started to introduce people to St. John as the “CFO of Donda,” a different company to the Yeezy brand. St. John requested a two-year guarantee to work with the Yeezy company, According to legal documents obtained by The Blast and TMZ.

“In addition to the economic costs and risks associated with committing to Defendants as clients, Plaintiff also needed assurance that Defendants would not simply walk away from the business relationship. Mr. St. John, however, proposed to compromise on an agreement with a minimum term of 18 months,” the lawsuit reads. Eventually, they agreed upon an 18-month period, but the company St. John works for was forced to two down two other potentially lucrative opportunities in order to work with Ye.

Per the agreement signed between the two parties, St. John and his company was “retained to act as Kanye’s 'most senior financial advisor'" and as Chief Financial Officer. The agreement was a monthly retainer fee of $300,000. Just weeks after they signed a contract, Ye called a meeting to drop the deal.

“At this meeting, Mr. West became heated and aggressive. He screamed at Mr. St. John and made clear he no longer wanted to work with (St. John),” reads the suit. “When confronted by the 18-month commitment that had just been made, Mr. West stated words to the effect of ‘The 18-month term was bullshit’ and ‘You’re insane for even thinking I would stick to it.’” Ye has failed to pay the remainder of the contract, which consisted of 15 months of payments.

“As a direct and proximate result of Kanye’s breach, (the company) has been damaged in the amount of the unpaid fee balance of $900,000 as of October 12, 2022,” the lawsuit continued. “It will continue to be damaged for an additional amount of $3,600,000 for fees owed from October 2022 to November 2023, through the remainder of the minimum 18-month terms of the Agreement.”

The company says it was sent a letter authorizing them to receive all of Kanye’s financial records and to begin working on a strategy for him going forward.

At the time, St. John says he was adamant to Yeezy that he wanted a two-year guarantee to start working for him. Obviously, a job like this one takes an extreme amount of time and effort, along with multiple other employees to execute. It should be noted, the company points out that it was having to turn down two other opportunities to work for Yeezy.

In the filing, St. John says he was approached by Kanye earlier this year to provide business management, accounting, and taxation services. By March 30, 2022, Thomas St. John, the Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”) of TSJ was “already been introduced to Yeezy’s business associates as ‘Ye’s business manager,'” it reads.

Adding, “Mr. St. John had already developed a business strategy for Yeezy’s negotiations with one of (Kanye’s) key business partners. By April 12, 2022, representatives of Mr. West introduced Mr. St. John to business associates as the “CFO of Donda,” another one of Mr. West’s entities.”

The company says it was sent a letter authorizing them to receive all of Kanye’s financial records and to begin working on a strategy for him going forward.

Unfortunately, similar to other recent business dealings with Kanye West, he allegedly called a meeting just weeks after striking the deal to discuss dropping the company.

The Off-White Story: How Virgil Abloh's Dream Became A Big Success

Off-White is best known for its $1,000 hoodies; costly, tongue-in-cheek phone covers; buzzy partnerships that help drive the billion-dollar sneaker business; trademark, seemingly nonfunctional industrial-themed belts; and experimental furniture. Two years ago, when children lined up and paid more than $1,000 for an actual brick issued by Supreme, it was at least apparent that this was a prank.

But Off-White is serious. It consists mostly of T-shirts, hoodies, and sneakers, and is adored by teens on Reddit, rich club kids in New York and Milan, pop stars and wealthy rappers in every magazine and on social media, and a large portion of the high-fashion elite, including Virgil Abloh's earliest supporter Marc Jacobs. Let’s dive into the Off-White success story.

The 22-year-old Illinois-raised son of two Ghanaian immigrants (his mother was a seamstress) Virgil Abloh graduated from the University of Wisconsin Madison's civil engineering school that year. Abloh met Kanye West and designed his clothing and album art that year. Abloh also earned a master of architecture from the Illinois Institute of Technology in 2006. (This shows his intelligence and seemingly endless energy.) West and Abloh interned at Fendi in the summer of 2009 and said they did nothing but became closer friends.

West appointed Abloh "creative director" in 2010. (Every rapper now has a creative director, and Rihanna has about 14.) Kanye West's successful album with Jay-Z, Watch the Throne, was Abloh's first major public effort with West. In 2012, Abloh established Pyrex Vision, a store based on a scam: buying inexpensive Champion basics and Ralph Lauren dead stock, screen-printing his own simple images on them, and selling them for hundreds of dollars. Buzzing! Controversial! A$AP Rocky!

RELATED: The Secret Of Zara’s Success: How It Went From Just 30 Euros To Opening Over 7,000 Stores Worldwide

Off-White redesigned 10 Nike classics in 2017. This footwear line's popularity and scarcity defy description. Despite starting at $200, most pairs went to celebrities, and resale prices are now over $1,000. In 2018, Abloh became the artistic director of Louis Vuitton's menswear, which was covered by every fashion or business journal and discussed by every prominent figure who had ever worn expensive clothes. Playboi Carti and Kid Cudi modeled for his Paris premiere with Rihanna.

According to a quarterly rating published by the fashion and e-commerce portal Lyst, Off-White is the most popular brand in the world. It surged 33 positions in Lyst's list during the past year, and for the first time this quarter, it eclipsed historical premium fashion houses such as Gucci and Balenciaga. This ranking should be taken with a grain of salt, considering Off-White is not a publicly traded company and we know nothing about its sales (although Gucci and Balenciaga have experienced "outstanding" growth this year).

In addition, the Lyst index relies heavily on opaque sources, including its own search, browsing, and purchase data, social media "engagement statistics," and "sentiment analysis." It also incorporates Google Search data, which is publicly available, but it is unclear how that data is weighted in this secret, somewhat suspiciously complex algorithm. Regardless of methodology, the index indicates the obvious: "luxury" today refers to upscale streetwear. Streetwear has been a benefit for the $300 billion global high-end fashion sector, contributing to a projected 5% expansion in 2017.

Federica Levato, a partner at the marketing consulting firm Bain & Company, told Business of Fashion last October that their customers are getting younger, which is great for the mid-and long-term survival of this industry. She explained that there is a big market of $2.5 million for luxury T-shirts, for example, that is growing very fast. And there is a half-a-billion-euro market for rubber sliders, which is very unusual in this market.

RELATED: The MCU Story: Here's How Marvel Studios Became A $53 Billion Business

The brand has been the subject of controversy. Abloh's perception of what is good, beautiful, and significant appears to be shaped by what makes an impression, and not necessarily by a consistent or obvious moral or intellectual viewpoint. Last summer, he collaborated with the renowned socially conscious conceptual artist Jenny Holzer to develop a collection of pro-immigration and anti-neo-nationalism statement pieces, and he designed T-shirts for Planned Parenthood that winter.

Nonetheless, he continued to support hip-hop icon Ian Connor, who has been accused of rape more than twenty times. In a 2017 W profile in which Abloh was crowned "King of Social Media Superinfluencers," he named Connor as a member of his "inner circle" alongside A$AP Mob's creative director A$AP Bari, who has also been accused of sexual assault (video evidence leaked on Reddit just before he was arrested) and with whom Nike severed ties in 2018.

Abloh's "everything in quotations" tagline serves as a rallying cry for sarcastic distancing in regard to the real designs that he has created. When asked about becoming the first black man to design his own brand for the 165-year-old Louis Vuitton, he told W that his generation was interested in fashion but was not intended to be there.

Here's How Michael Shannon Became A Hollywood Star | TheRichest

and performed in scene-stealing roles that have helped him become a successful actor.

Michael Shannon was in his last year of high school when he decided to pursue acting. After working as a stage actor with various theater groups, his debut came in the early 1990s, wherein he was a supporting actor. While appearing in a series of movies, Shannon also returned to the theater to be a part of musical productions. Michael Shannon has played stellar supporting roles in films, playing positive and negative roles to perfection, which has helped him become one of the best-supporting actors in Hollywood. The actor has won several notable awards and even received two Oscar nominations throughout his career.

From getting his start in small theater productions to becoming an antagonist everyone hates, Michael Shannon has raised the bar high for playing supporting roles that can even dethrone the lead cast to become scene stealers. An actor who remains ever-consistent with his performances, let’s take a look at how Michael Shannon became a successful actor.

3 A Mixed Bag Of Stage And Screen

Michael Shannon got his start in the industry with a role in the music video for House Of Pain of the metal/rock band Every Mother's Nightmare. The actor then moved to Chicago to begin his work in stage productions. He regularly performed at various acting companies. He also portrayed the original role in the musical Bug as Peter Evans, which was later adapted into a movie. According to Celebrity Net Worth, Shannon made his Hollywood debut in Groundhog Dog, the romantic comedy starring Bill Murray. The actor had a small part in the film but played it to perfection. The film made him make subsequent appearances in multiple movies, including 8 Mile, Vanilla Sky, and Pearl Harbor.

After a while, the actor also returned to stage productions and performed in West-End and Off-Broadway productions of large productions. In 2006, an almost unknown Shannon became a part of a disturbing thriller, Bug, which has been regarded as a classic today, as noted by The Guardian. Co-starring Ashely Judd in one of her best performances, the film saw the couple believe that insects affect their surroundings. Shannon made appearances in television shows for the next two years, including Law & Order, Delocated, and Early Edition.

2 Creating The Michael Shannon Brand

Michael Shannon earned a global breakthrough when he received the role in Sam Mendes’ Revolutionary Road. The film was not only a highly-anticipated project for its direction but also a long-awaited reunion of Leonard DiCaprio and Kate Winslet on screen since Titanic. As mentioned by Buzzfeed, despite the hype of the duo’s reunion, Michael Shannon’s portrayal of a mentally challenged mysterious neighbor stole the spotlight. Along with winning the Satellite Award for Best Supporting Actor, he was also nominated for an Oscar. While working on the HBO television series Boardwalk Empire, he starred in a one-man play, Mistakes Were Made.

After 2010, Michael Shannon continued his work in movies and theaters at once, starring in numerous projects and taking on roles. His 2011 drama Take Shelter, co-starring Jessica Chastain, earned him his second Saturn Award. He took on Broadway a year later with Paul Rudd in Craig Wright-written Grace. The following year, Shannon took on the lead antagonist role in Zach Snyder’s Man Of Steel, making his first foray into the DC Universe. He made another notable supporting actor performance in 99 Homes, getting nominations from the Screen Actors Guild and the Golden Globes.

1 A Stellar Career Worth Watching

While Shannon is known to play roles in drama and thrillers, he ventured into comedy with The Night Before, a Christmas-themed stoner film starring Seth Rogen, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Anthony Mackie. 2016 was a standout year for Shannon, and he gave his second career-defining performance. The actor starred in Tom Ford’s neo-noir stunner Nocturnal Animals and played the role of a law enforcement officer, as stated by Screen Rant. The critically acclaimed film had a long award campaign and received recognition. Shannon was the only actor nominated for an Oscar in the Supporting Actor category.

Michael Shannon also had a supporting role in The Shape Of Water, another Academy Award favorite. It won the Golden Lion after its premiere at the Venice Film Festival in 2017. He was also cast in an ensemble cast in Knives Out with Daniel Craig as the lead actor. In 2021, he returned to television with the Hulu miniseries Nine Perfect Strangers alongside Luke Evans and Melissa McCarthy.

While Michael Shannon was a little-known actor during his early years as a supporting actor and stage star, he became one of the most poignant actors who could steal the show with his performances and character acting. The actor had two big releases in 2022, starring in Bullet Train and Amsterdam.
