‘Fuller House’ to wrap up after 5 seasons
The Full House reboot is set to end after its fifth and final season.
Netflix bosses revamped the classic sitcom, which initially ran from 1987 to 1995, for the new Fuller House series in 2016, and it became such a hit, it was repeatedly renewed.
Now officials have announced the show will wrap for good after one more run, sharing the news with fans in a video montage of clips from the beloved series on Thursday.
“It has been an amazing few years of family, laughter, love,” reads a statement in the footage. “The farewell season of Fuller House is coming.”
The promo also features Fuller House stars Candace Cameron Bure, John Stamos, Bob Saget, Jodie Sweetin, Andrea Barber, Lori Loughlin, and Dave Coulier bidding farewell to their characters.
“We’re saving the best for last,” says Saget in the video.
The fifth season will air on the streaming service this autumn.
