Palace loses another aide amid Meghan Markle drama

Kensington Palace has lost yet another aide, amid Meghan Markle’s royal drama.

As RadarOnline.com has learned, senior adviser Sir David Manning announced his departure after 10 years of working for the family.

The reveal came after it was reported the Cambridges and Sussexes are formally dividing their household to pursue separate projects. It also came after three of Meghan’s staffers quit. These included her protection officer and her personal assistant. Though the palace did not clarify why the aides left, royal sources said they could no longer deal with the former Suits actress’ diva demands.

Sir David Manning, 69, joined the palace in 2009. Apart from working closely with Prince William and Prince Harry, he also mentored Kate Middleton and later, Meghan, 37.

A spokesman for the Cambridges and Sussexes said: “Their Royal Highnesses are incredibly grateful for the guidance and support that Sir David has provided over the last 10 years.”

“His wise counsel has been central to the success of their international tours and the early stages of their official work as members of the royal family,” the spokesman added.

According to U.K. reports, Sir David prepped Kate, 37, for her role as Duchess and future Queen, and likely did the same for Meghan upon her entry into the British Royal family.

But now that Harry, 34, and Meghan will be starting their own family and moving to Frogmore Cottage on the Windsor Estate, he will be stepping down.
