Grammy-nominated rapper Nipsey Hussle shot dead in L.A.
Rapper Nipsey Hussle has been shot dead at the age of 33.
The hip-hop star was killed on a Los Angeles street near his clothing store Marathon Clothing Company on Sunday.
According to TMZ, two other victims were involved in the tragic incident.
“Right around 3:20 this afternoon, there was a shooting that occurred at the 3400 block of West Slauson Avenue,” a statement from a public information officer for the Los Angeles police department reads. “Three individuals, three victims were shot. They were taken to a local hospital. One of those victims died at the local hospital, the other two are listed in stable condition.”

The source adds: “The subject responsible for the shooting fled in some type of vehicle, but I do not have the information of the type of vehicle he fled in.”
The Double Up hitmaker, born Ermias Davidson Asghedom, left behind a ominous tweet hours before his demise.
“Having strong enemies is a blessing,” he posted.
Further details into his death are expected to emerge as the investigation continues. He leaves behind his actress girlfriend Lauren London, who he welcomed a child with in 2016.
Asghedom recently gained recognition for his debut studio album, Victory Lap. The release was nominated for a Grammy award in February.
Several stars, including Issa Rae and Pharrell Williams, have taken to social media to pay their respects following the news.
“Watching Nipsey inspired me to invest and own in our communities,” Rae writes. “He was a solid man who loved his woman, his family and his community. This hurts.”
Pharrell adds, “You were about something..positive and for your community in every chance you had to speak..and because of that You inspired millions..millions who will uphold your legacy forever. rest amongst the stars.”
