Celebrate The Same New Year Twice On A Private Jet For $250,000

There's a company that allows people to ring in the same New Year twice. It involves two cities on two different continents, a private jet, and more than $250,000.

New Year's Eve is almost upon us. The chance to look back on the year and ring in a new one, hopefully, surrounded by friends and loved ones. This New Year's Eve will be an even bigger occasion than usual as it doesn't just mark the end of a year, but the end of an entire decade.

That's even more reason to ring in the new year, and the new decade, in style. Business Insider recently reported on what might be the most stylish, and almost definitely the most expensive way to celebrate on New Year's Eve. By doing it twice. PrivateFly offers people the chance to do that by flying them to a different city in a different timezone.

Here's how it works. The world's most extravagant party begins in Sydney, Australia at 8 pm on New Year's Eve. PrivateFly's customers ring in the new year and celebrate there until 2 am on New Year's Day. At that point, they board the jet and take a 13.5-hour flight to Los Angeles, California. Due to the 19 hour time difference, it is once again 8 pm on New Year's Eve and PrivateFly's passengers can celebrate new year all over again.

The company offers up two different packages: The Wellness Package, or Festive Flight. Passengers who opt for the Wellness option will have the chance to recover between Sydney and LA. They can sleep, detox, and prepare to party all over again. The Festive Flight option doesn't let the party end, as passengers will instead drink champagne and dine on caviar for the duration of the flight.

Now for the most important part of all. The reason why all of us aren't taking to the skies on New Year's Eve and jetting off to cities on opposite sides of the world. The price. To charter one of PrivateFly's jets, it'll cost $255,500. That's a hefty price tag for one night out. Or two nights out, we guess. Still, that's pretty steep, but if you have the money, it would make for a pretty unforgettable couple of New Year parties.
