James Bond "No Time To Die" Teaser Released [Video]

There's plenty of hype around every James Bond film, but No Time to Die has especially high expectations for many reasons.

For starters, it will be Daniel Craig's final performance as the legendary 007 character. The 51-year-old actor has already confirmed that he's stepping down from the role, following an illustrious 14-year run as Bond.

The movie isn't slated to be released until April, but the trailer will be released on Wednesday. In the meantime, you can view a short 15-second teaser that was shared by the official 007 Twitter account.

There's one key spoiler that was revealed last month: Bond is married to Dr. Madeleine Swann - portrayed by Léa Seydoux - who also starred in Spectre (2015). This will mark just the second time that 007 ties the knot. George Lazenby's Bond got married at the end of On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969).

No Time to Die will marks Craig's fifth portrayal of the British spy. It started with Casino Royale in 2006, followed by Quantom of Solace (2008), Skyfall (2012) and the aforementioned Spectre.

Aside from Craid and Seydoux, the film also stars Rami Malek - who will portray the primary villain, Safin. Malek may be best known for his portrayal of Freddie Mercury in the 2018 film Bohemian Rhapsody.

Other characters set to return include Eve Moneypenny (portrayed by Naomie Harris), M (Ralph Fiennes), Bill Tanner (Rory Kinnear), Jeffrey Wright (Felix Leiter) and Ben Whishaw (Q). For what it's worth, Harris has stated that No Time to Die will "really shock people."

No Time to Die also marks the milestone 25th film in the James Bond franchise. Director Cary Joji Fukunaga shot three different endings for the movie, but the fate of Craig's character is currently unknown.

It's also not clear as to who will replace Craig as 007, though Sam Heughan is Coral's betting favorite at 5/2 followed by Game of Thrones star Richard Madden, James Norton and Tom Hiddleston - who carry 5/1 odds.
