The First Trailer For Marvel's Black Widow Is Here

Marvel fans rejoice! The first sign that the drought is coming to an end has arrived in the form of the first official trailer for Black Widow.

Three phases of Marvel movies came to an epic conclusion earlier this year in the form of Avengers: Endgame. We laughed, we cried, and we didn't have long to wait to find out what was coming next. Just two months after Endgame, Spider-Man: Far From Home was released. A movie that acts as the bridge between phase three and what will be phase four.

The trouble is, now that Far From Home has been and gone, Marvel fans have been left waiting for an unprecedented amount of time. MCU movies have been coming thick and fast for ten years so we're not used to it. This week, the first sign that the drought will soon come to an end arrived in the form of a trailer.

A trailer for what will be the next MCU movie to hit theaters, Black Widow. The more astute fans among you will remember that Black Widow was one of the casualties in Endgame. Natasha Romanov's first standalone movie will be a prequel, set somewhere between the events of Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War when she returned to Russia.

Romanov's return to Russia is featured heavily in the new trailer as she reacquaints herself with what seem to be equally as skilled members of her family. Those family members include her sister Yelena, and also the Red Guardian who is played by Stranger Things' David Harbour. As for other MCU cameos, we know that Hawkeye will feature as he popped up in the trailer, but we could see a couple of other heroes return too.

Tony Stark is rumored to be making one last appearance as Iron Man and considering how close Romanov is with Steve Rogers, we wouldn't be surprised to see Cap' show his face (the young version) before hanging up his shield forever. Don't get too excited about the MCU booting back up for phase four just yet though, we still have another five months until Black Widow is in theaters.
