A lot was going on in the last decade! Some are amazing, and we hope they still around in the coming years. However, there are some we wish to forget, and we are regret wearing them.

14 BEST: Wearable Technologies

One of the most remarkable things in the last decade is that wearable technology finally becoming a part of our daily lives. Having a pair of AirPods is one of the most practical things you can have in your day. Of course, high-fashion brands would not miss the opportunity to make some profit with the trend. Dior, for example, released a leather AirPod case.

Smartwatches are also part of our daily routine now. Wearable technology is not just a trend, but it will be something even more common in the next years. Although it is hard to predict the following wearable technologies with precision, some people bet on sneakers and earrings.

13 WORST: Bucket Hats

Not everything about fashion trends was good in the last decade. For example, it also brought back the bucket hat, which was very popular during the '90s. It became a daily accessory, and even the high-fashion brands like Dior and Prada created their version of the bucket hat.

Among the celebrities, we have seen wearing it were Rihanna ( who has a fashion free pass and can wear anything she wants), Kanye West, Vanessa Hudgens, and Bella Hadid. Although the bucket hat seems to have the blessing of fashion designers and fashionable celebrities, we hope it is something that remains in the 2010s.

12 BEST: Mom Jeans

Fashion often brings some trends back. After many years of super low-waist pants, we have seen the high-waist clothes make a comeback. The mom jeans, which were very popular during the ‘80s and early ‘90s, are now one of the hottest trends in the last few years.

According to Today, the mom jeans are responsible for the increase in sales in the jeans industry. Some specialists believe the popularity of the piece is because it’s very comfortable and has many models available. However, they also predict the super low-waist pants will come back soon.

11 WORST: Tiny Sunglasses

We know when a fashion trend is real when Kanye West endorses it. He emailed Kim Kardashian to tell her that her big sunglasses were outdated, and she should replace the by tiny ones. She did it, and many other people followed her. For the last couple of years, we have seen them around.

However, not everybody is a fan. Mindy Kaling tweeted that "I think we will regret this tiny sunglasses look." Reese Witherspoon agreed with her friend and remembered us that it was also a comeback from the '90s. By the way, we also agree with Mindy Kaling.

10 BEST: Mixed Prints

There is a strict rule on fashion that says we should not mix prints. But the 2010s changed it and showed that we could make fun combinations. The trick to getting it right is trying to match the colors and don’t mind so much for the prints. So it is possible to use stripes and plaids in just one look.

Of course, several celebrities loved it. Kerry Washington brought it to the red carpet a few times. Emma Watson, Beyonce and Blake Lively are some of the fashion icons who gave it a chance. And they rocked on it!

9 WORST: Clogs

The decade started with a revival from the '70s, and one of the items we have seen around were the streets. Fashion influencers like Alexa Chung were the first to embrace it, but it soo took over the streets during summer. Jur like the tiny sunglasses, this is already a fashion trend that we regret.

They are also bad for your feet. According to some specialists claim that it can "cause fissures in the heels and stress that travels to the ankles, knees, hips, and even back." They claim that it is better to wear heels than clogs.

8 BEST: Faux Fur

Faux fur was not created in the 2010s, but it was when high-fashion brands committed to becoming fur-free. Michael Kors, Macy's Gucci are some companies that announced the decision years ago. In 2019, Prada, Miu Miu, Car Shoe and Church's joined the list. It is great, and we hope to see the list increasing since there are several synthetic options available.

However, the biggest challenge that brands will face in the coming years is how to create clothes with a minor impact on the environment.

7 WORST: Overly Distressed Jeans

You probably had a pair of distressed jeans in your wardrobe in the last years. They are very fashionable and give a modern touch to the basic looks. IT is also an easy DIY task in case you no want to buy a new one.

However, we have to admit they went too far, and the jeans were covered with massive holes. Among the celebrities who wore it are the Kardashians and Jessie J. We hope it is something we left behind in the 2010s, and we see regular distressed jeans in the next years.

6 BEST: Crop Tops

In 2013, several publications announced that the crop tops were back, and they might stick around in the next year. It looks a great match with high-waist shorts, skirts or even mom jeans. The versatile piece can be an excellent choice for a basic or sophisticated look, and we have seen it even on the red carpets.

Several celebrities love crop tops, like Miley Cyrus, Kendall Jenner, and Jada Pinkett Smith. It also shows the trend is not limited to girls in her early 20s. It is no surprise it has been around for so long.

1 WORST: Ugly Shoes

Love or hate them, ugly shoes were omnipresent in the last decade. But being ugly doesn't mean it is cheap. The Balenciaga's Triple S shoe, fr example, cost nearly $800, and it is one of the must-have items among fashionistas around the world. There are also several models of dad sneakers available. In case you are not a fan of sneakers, perhaps you prefer a pair of Birkenstocks with pink shearling and multiple models of weird sandals.

The 2010s were remarkable when it comes to shoes.
