Daniel Craig Given 5/1 Odds Of Returning As James Bond
No matter how many times Daniel Craig says he's done portraying James Bond, it won't be enough to end the speculation until a replacement is announced.
Craig has already stated that No Time to Die, slated for a November release, will be his final outing as 007. No Time to Die marks the fifth film for the longest-tenured Bond actor in history.
Despite Craig's promise that this is his last adventure as 007, it apparently hasn't been enough to convince the oddsmakers. The 52-year-old has been given 5/1 odds of portraying Bond in the franchise's 26th film, yet to be announced, by Ladbrokes (h/t Minnie Wright of the Daily Express).
Right now, War & Peace and Happy Valley star James Norton is the betting favorite at 2/1, although he's strongly denied that he'll play the part, calling it "pure speculation." Game of Thrones star Richard Madden has the second highest odds behind Norton at 3/1.
Sam Heughan has also been listed as a favorite to play James Bond for quite some time. Heughan, who admitted that he once auditioned for the 007 role, currently has 4/1 odds. His Bloodshot costar, Vin Diesel, believes Heughan would "make a good James Bond."

For what it's worth, a source recently told The Sun they don't think Craig is done as Bond yet. The source noted that Craig claimed he was finished as 007 following the release of Spectre (2015), only to sign up for No Time to Die.
There have been lots of rumors about a female being cast as the next Bond, but film series producer Barbara Broccoli shut that down, confirming that a male will continue to play the popular British spy character.
The last James Bond film that didn't star Craig? Die Another Day, which was released 18 years ago. That marked Pierce Brosnan's four and final performance as 007, before the role was passed on over to Craig.
