Sophie Turner & Joe Jonas Welcome A Baby Girl Together

On Wednesday, Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas welcomed the couple's first child together, a baby girl. According to a source, the couple is beyond thrilled at their new addition. Although they haven’t made a formal announcement to fans, they have shared the news with family and friends.

The family of three is still taking precautions when it comes to keeping their baby girl safe from the coronavirus. According to TMZ, the couple has named their daughter Willa. Turner, 24, and Jonas, 30, got married on May 1, 2019, in Las Vegas. They held their second wedding in Paris, France on June 29, 2019. Despite being very visible in public, the couple has refused to comment on their relationship or their pregnancy.

In February, sources confirmed that the Game of Thrones actress was pregnant. On Conan, Turner said we she was more of a homebody than Jonas, so she enjoyed the time they had together alone. During an appearance on Dr. Phil's Phil in the Blanks podcast, Turner admitted that Jonas had helped her overcome her depression. In Survive, a 2020 web series, the actress played a character with the same condition who experiences suicidal ideation. Critics agreed that the series is "further proof that the incredibly talented Sophie Turner is worthy of bigger, better roles."

"I love myself now, or more than I used to," she said. "I'm now with someone that makes me realize, you know, that I do have some redeeming qualities, I suppose, and when someone tells you they love you every day, it makes you realize why that is, and I think it makes you love yourself a bit more."

Meanwhile, in an interview on SiriusXM Hits 1's Celebrity Session hosted by The Morning Mash Up in May, Jonas said that the couple was enjoying married life during the coronavirus lockdown. Turner recently co-starred in Home Movie: The Princess Bride, a miniseries based on the 1987 film that was produced while actors were self-isolating. Filmed with smartphones, Turner and Jonas appeared together with Turner playing Westley and Jonas playing Buttercup. The Jonas Brothers' joint memoir, Blood, co-written with Neil Strauss, will be released in October 2020.
