Scott Disick Felt Betrayed When Rehab Stay Leaked
After Scott Disick, 37, and Sofia Richie, 22, broke up earlier this year, sources say the 37-year-old entered a rehab facility. In a statement to TMZ at the time, lawyer Marty Singer denied Disick was seeking treatment for substance abuse.
Singer claimed the reality star was dealing with the trauma that resulted from the death of his mother years before, which was followed by the death of his father three months later. Disick’s mother, Bonnie, died in 2013 at the age of 63. His father, Jeffrey, died shortly after.
In a recent Keeping Up With The Kardashians scene, it was revealed that Disick was angry that his stay had been made public. As a result, he checked out earlier than expected. In the scene, Kim Kardashian says that she found out that Disick had gone to rehab after someone at the facility leaked a photo of him. Kourtney Kardashian responded that she felt terrible since conversations with the therapist were also made public.
Kourtney, who is reportedly seeing him again, said he never felt more betrayed in his life, adding that he had decided to pack up and come home. She also encouraged him to file a lawsuit for violation of privacy. After the leak, Noah Nordheimer, President & CEO of All Points North Lodge, a rehab facility, told Entertainment Tonight that if they found out that the information had been leaked by an employee, legal action would be taken.
As for Richie, according to sources, she “isn’t upset” about her recent separation Disick. She has reportedly been getting a lot of support from friends and family. The couple broke up in May but decided to give it another try two months later, but eventually split again. The model was recently spotted on August 21 having dinner with her father, Lionel Richie, and her sister, Nicole Richie. Two days later, she joined her brother, Miles Richie, their mother, Diane Alexander, and friends on a private jet.
