The Rock's Instagram Posts Are Worth More Than $1 Million Each
The Rock has earned the moniker of "Instagram's most valuable star" and it's estimated that each if his posts is worth more then $1 million.
There are some people on the planet that earn so much money most of us will never even be able to comprehend what it must feel like. Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos, for instance. Both men have enough money to comfortably last them 100 lifetimes without needing to work another day in their lives.
There isn't even a need to stretch as far as the world's richest people to reach a point where someone's wealth is almost unfathomable. How the rich and famous are earning this money makes the pill an even more bitter one to swallow. Take The Rock. Dwayne Johnson might well be one of the nicest men on the planet. He is also the richest person in Hollywood having earned $90 million before tax in 2019.
Not only that, but according to social media marketing firm Hopper HQ, each of his posts on Instagram is potentially worth more than $1 million. What that means is if Rock were to charge a company for s sponsored post on his Insta feed, he could charge them more than $1 million for the privilege and it would be worth that company's while to cough up.
The thing is, Rock very rarely does sponsored posts on social media. The only things he sponsors per se are his own products. Whether that be his line of tequila, TV shows like The Titans or Ballers, or his upcoming appearance in the DCEU as Black Adam. As for others who come close to Rock's Insta-worth, Kylie Jenner sits in second place at $986,000 per post.
In fact, 2019 was the first time in four years that a Jenner or a Kardashian hasn't topped the list. Kim Kardashian in fourth at $858,000 per post, while soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo is sandwiched between her and Jenner in third with $889,000 per post. We're unsure how these numbers are calculated as it doesn't appear to be based on follower count alone. Interaction and frequency of posts likely play a part too.
