Watch The First Full Trailer For The MCU's Weird And Wonderful Wandavision
Marvel still hopes to bring two MCU TV shows to Disney+ before the end of 2020, one of which will be Wandavision.
The MCU has become an intricate web of movies that have spanned more than a decade. However, the pandemic has messed with that web. Black Widow was supposed to kickstart Marvel's fourth phase, pegged for a May 2020 release date. Not only was that not able to happen, it may now be a miracle if superhero fans get to see the prequel before the end of the year.
Since everything in the MCU is linked to everything else, that has thrown its TV shows into disarray. The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, and Wandavision are meant to be coming to Disney+ before the end of the year. There is some good news on that front. Despite the repeated delays of Black Widow's release, we will still get MCU TV shows before the end of 2020.
A brand new trailer for Wandavision, which you can check out below, is further proof that the Disney+ shows are ready to go, or very close to being ready. The new trailer gives fans a more in-depth look than ever before. However, it remains unclear what is going on exactly. Marvel has confirmed the show takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame so (spoiler alert) how on Earth is Vision still alive?
Vision was killed by Thanos at the end of Infinity War, but not in a way that he could be brought back like the half of the universe the Mad Titan wiped out along with him. The trailer suggests that Wanda Maximoff, or Scarlet Witch, has created an entire world to live in, and that includes bringing her boyfriend back from the dead.
It has also been hinted that Wandavision will begin what will be a time-bending, universe-hopping MCU in the future. Most of those changes will go down in Dr. Strange 2, in which Wanda will play a starring role. It makes sense that she would start what will be an exciting, and maybe even quite confusing, path. Before that though, if all goes to plan, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will be coming to Disney+.
