Dr. Will Kirby Says He's "Unequivocally" The "Big Brother" Player Ever

When it comes to debating the best Big Brother players of all time, Dr. Will Kirby immediately has to come to mind in the conversation.

Because he had the fortunes of playing on two seasons, Will made a strong case as the best to ever do it. So many other all-time greats like Derrick Levasseur, Hayden Moss and Lisa Donahue didn't play in two seasons like Will did.

Will won the second season of Big Brother, and he nearly went the distance in the seventh season, Big Brother: All Stars. He finished in fourth place that year after getting evicted by Janelle Pierzina.

Will earned the nickname "Puppet Master," as he completely controlled the gameplay in his two seasons. Not only was he a force in competitions, but Will displayed a phenomenal social game that no other Big Brother legend could match.

Ahead of finale night for Big Brother 22, Will was asked several question by Us Weekly regarding the game. One of those questions was if he's "the best player to ever play." And yes, Dr. Will does himself above all other Big Brother players in history.

"Please let me address your question with a question of my own: What other non-scripted television show cast member is still relevant nearly two decades after his or her first appearance," Will asked. "I laid the foundation for the anti-hero gameplay that fans relish today, I was the architect of alliances, and I’m well rounded in every aspect of strategic gameplay. "Moreover, I provided pure unadulterated entertainment enveloped in a comedic shell. On top of all that, I literally created the word 'showmance.' So, yes, unequivocally, I’m the best to ever play."

US Weekly also asked Will where Derrick, Dan Gheesling and other Big Brother champions "stack up."  In short, Dr. Will doesn't think any of them are close to his level.

"If I’m being truly sincere, my name is at the top of the list in block letters written with a black Sharpie," Will said. "Then there is a huge space on the page and Dan and Derrick’s names appear in blue Bic pen about halfway down (Dan’s just slightly ahead of Derrick’s). At the very bottom of the piece of paper are the names of all the other winners, lumped together written in unsharpened No. 2 pencils and broken rainbow crayons."

If there's one person who can truly challenge Dr. Will for the best Big Brother player ever, it's Dan. He cruised to the $500,000 prize in Big Brother 10, and he went all the way to the finals in Big Brother 14, losing to Ian Terry.

Like Will, Dan was a genius when it came to the social aspect, cleverly planning out his every move and often convincing his opponents to make the risky decisions for him. And Dan is only one of two houseguests to ever reach the finals twice; the other being Paul Abrahamian in seasons 18 and 19.
