Ellen DeGeneres Is Selling Her Mansion For A $10 Million Profit
Ellen DeGeneres is known to invest in real estate and has made plenty of money by flipping properties that she has lived in and upgraded to her liking. News just hit the airwaves indicating that she has listed her Beverly Hills Estate for sale, and the difference between her purchase price and her new listing price is a whopping $10 million.
Ellen and her wife, Portia de Rossi, own a number of properties, and are not strangers to selling their homes for big profits, however, this situation is unique in the sense that the bought the home merely 2 years ago, meaning if they find the right purchaser, they may have just earned $5 million per year of ownership, which is incredible return on their investment, by anyone's standards.
Clearly not your average sale price, it's obvious that means this is also not your average home.
This massive, 2 story, 10,000 square foot home was formerly owned by the one and only Adam Levine, the lead singer of Maroon 5 and heartthrob judge on The Voice. The incredible property is nestled in what TMZ describes as "a secluded, gated sanctuary in Beverly Hills," and of course, it comes fully equipped with every possible luxury item and feature that anyone could ever imagine.
Worth an estimated $500 million, Ellen DeGeneres lives in the lap of luxury, and one would expect nothing less than modern opulence from one of her homes. This one, in particular seems to be a hidden gem that boasts incredible features that any new home owner would truly enjoy.
Some of the incredible highlights of this fancy abode include a resort-style pool, a sunken tennis court, indoor gym, and outdoor features that make entertaining a sheer delight. There's an outdoor kitchen near the pool, which also features a fire pit, and a spa that can be used for relaxation and self indulgence.
If the new owners have guests over that would like to spend the night, that should be no problem at all, considering there's an entirely separate guest house on the property, which comes with numerous high-end, luxury options as well.
Ellen DeGeneres reportedly purchased this estate from Adam Levine in 2019 for $45 million, and are looking to sell it with the massive price tag of $53.5 million attached to it. If the sale goes through as planned, it's not just Ellen and Portia that stand to make a huge profit on it... celebrity real estate mogul, Kurt Rappaport will likely line his pockets quite nicely as well.
