Taylor Swift's $360 Million Net Worth & How She Spent It

Taylor Swift has soared to the highest levels of fame and fortune and has amassed a huge following of loyal fans. Her incredible career has seen her take the stage to accept numerous accolades and she has more hardware to show for her success than most artists that are twice her age. Spending money is never a problem for Taylor Swift. With a net worth of $400 million demonstrates not just her earning power, but her spending power, as well. However, there's something glaringly different about the way Taylor Swift spends her money, when compared to other celebrities that have amassed the same incredible fortune. She's not one to show off in fancy cars or sport lavish jewelry. She's far more low key and tends to shy away from lavish spending on material items, but there are a few key areas that she definitely splurges on...

Interestingly, one of the highlights of Taylor Swift's spending habits happens to be her desire to throw money at partying with her fans. She enjoys giving back to the fans that keep her so popular in the first place, and is very relatable when they are given a chance to meet her. She has a deep connection with her fan base and engages her millions of social media followers regularly. She hosts private parties which she terms as being 'listening parties', during which time some lucky fans are invited to party with Taylor Swift and enjoy a night on her dime.

In addition to the fabulous events that her fans get to take part in, Taylor Swift also happens to shower them with exclusive presents. She coined the term "Swiftmas" when several fans found stunning gifts from Taylor Swift on their doorsteps. She gifted them clothing, gift cards, and home-items that were either put to good use or framed and preserved as incredible memory gifts!

Swift has also paid student loans and hospital bills for various fans that have reached out for assistance, as well. She is known as being the star that truly values the people that led to her success and popularity.

Real Estate is an area in which Taylor Swift spends a whole lot of money. She has more properties than we can list, and each of them is more impressive than the last. She owns properties in various different states, including a massive mansion in Beverly Hills, a huge estate property in Rhode Island, and a Penthouse in New York City.

Taylor Swift's real estate portfolio is said to be worth $84 million, and consists of a grand total of eight properties. She even owns an exclusive condo  in Nashville, an estate in Rhode Island.  Her most prized real estate purchase is a $40 million property in Tribeca which boasts it's own penthouse and townhouse, too!

Some celebrities enjoy flying on private jets, but Taylor Swift seems to make a habit out of owning them! She doesn't just have one jet, she has several of them. She uses them for her own self-indulgence, but also graciously flies her fans to and from her exclusive events in them as well.

Within her collection, it is believed that Taylor Swift owns two Dassault private jets. There's report on the actual dollar value she spent on these aircrafts, but they're typically priced in the region of $58 million each.

If there's a cause or charity that requires attention, Taylor Swift shows up. She has supported the victims of natural disasters, music education programs, and a series of GoFundMe campaigns. The Nashville Symphony even received a $100,000 donation on the day of Taylor Swift's birthday.

Business Insider reports that Swift has also donated millions to the victims of the Louisiana floods, Nashville flood relief, and $50,000 to the New York Public Schools.

She's provided support during natural disasters, donating $1 million to the victims of Louisiana floods and $500,000 to the Nashville flood relief, and raising $750,000 through a Speak Now Help Now benefit concert for victims of tornadoes in the southern US in 2011.

Swift is also supportive of education — she pledged $4 million to the Country Music Hall of Fame to fund the Taylor Swift Education Center and donated $50,000 to NYC public schools.

She's also donated to various GoFundMe campaigns, including $10,000 toward a service dog for an autistic boy and $50,000 to her backup dancer's nephew, who was battling cancer.
