NBA All-Star Anthony Davis Buys $32 Million Bel-Air Mansion

It appears that Lakers superstar Anthony Davis' lavish Westlake Village estate just wasn't glamorous enough for him. After selling the mansion for $6.6 million, Davis coughed up an estimated $32 million for a new one in Bel-Air.

The baller certainly has a great deal of wiggle room with his finances. With an estimated net worth of $60 million from his career as a 7 time NBA-All Star, it's only fitting that Davis had his eyes set on the luxury lifestyle of Bel-Air. The All-Star sold his Westlake estate back in December for around $900K less than he what he paid for back in 2018. But with his $190 extension deal with the Lakers, it's no sweat off his back.

While his former estate came with an outdoor kitchen and an infinity pool that overlooked a beautiful view of mountains, Davis' new crib has exactly what he needs: a full sized basketball court!

Stationed in one of Bel-Air's most exclusive gated communities, Davis' mansion spans a whopping 16,700 square feet - 1.2 acres larger than his estate in Westlake. In this mega home, Davis is certain to lead a life of affluence with its eight bedrooms and twelve bathrooms. It's recently been renovated by celebrity interior designer, Lonni Paul. Enlisted by the estate's previous owner, entrepreneur Ted Foxman, Paul took the task of embellishing the massive estate with improvements that include a music room and a lush powder room.

Though the highlight of the mansion, at least for Davis, is the massive backyard. It comes with an 120 foot long Olympic sized swimming pool, a tennis court, and of course, a huge basketball court. The home would be practically incomplete without a space for Davis to practice his game winning moves.

This news is definitely great for the player who's just recently got back onto the court after recovering injuries to his Achilles tendon and calf. Tensions were high as the Lakers went up against Portland Trail Blazers, a team that was tied with them in tournament standings. With ankle pains gone and new back pains emerging, Davis told reporters how he felt about getting back into the game,

"I should be good to go tomorrow, based on how it's feeling now," says Davis, "But I'm gonna still wake up and test it out. But my plan is to still go tomorrow."

Bad news: the Lakers ultimately lost to the Blazers. Good news: Davis can relax and properly heal in his new, beyond opulent estate.
