Porsha Williams Shows Off Enormous Ring After Simon Guobadia Engagement
Porsha Williams just announced her engagement to Simon Guobadia. On her Instagram account, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star showed off her massive engagement ring even before she announced her engagement.
It is unclear how much Williams’ engagement ring is, but there’s no denying the fact that emerald cut diamond sparkler is huge.
Williams was first photographed with the ring on Mother’s Day. And her eagle-eyed followers immediately noticed the jewelry on her finger, and they started congratulating her.
A day later, Williams penned a lengthy post revealing that she and Guobadia got engaged just after a month of dating.
“Our relationship began a month ago—yes we are crazy in love. I know it's fast but we are living life each day to its fullest. I choose happiness every morning and every night. Tuning out all negative energy and only focused on positive wishes. He makes me so happy and to me, that is what matters most,” she wrote.
Guobadia also confirmed his engagement via his Instagram account. He said that he asked Williams to marry him because they checked all of each other’s boxes.
For those who might not know, Guodabia was previously married to Williams’ Real Housewives of Atlanta co-star, Falynn. The latter announced her split from Guobadia last month after two years of marriage.
In a statement, Falynn said that it was not easy coming to the decision that they should go their separate ways. Still, the exes are thankful for the impact that they’ve had on each other’s lives.
Williams also revealed in her lengthy engagement post that she and Guodabia just started dating recently. But the entrepreneur and his ex-wife filed for divorce in January. So, a few months have passed before Williams and Guodabia got together.
“I had nothing to do with their divorce filing. That's between the two of them. Falynn and I are not friends, and Simon's divorce has been settled. Our relationship is a positive, loving step forward in everybody's lives,” she said.
The RHOA star also has an ex – Dennis McKinley – with who she shares a daughter with. According to Williams, her ex is respectful and supportive of her happiness.
Williams and McKinley’s engagement was featured in the Real Housewives of Atlanta. However, their union didn’t last long after the latter was accused of being unfaithful while Williams was pregnant with their daughter.
