With a number of properties already under their belts, it seems Ellen DeGeneres always has her eye out for good deals. She recently snagged a fixer-upper property that she may overhaul and sell for huge profits. It is a bit different than the average person's idea of a home designed to renovate and flip - this one happens to come with an $8.5 million price tag. TMZ reports that Ellen's extra home is in dire need of renovations yet is still worthy of the massive price tag.
The celebrity TV show host now has a new project to keep her busy after spending $8.5 million on a home that really does seem to need a whole lot of tender loving care. She has a very impressive real estate portfolio already, and this home now stands out among the rest as being the odd one out. The reason for this is solely the fact that it still needs a lot of work to bring it up to Ellen's standards.
The new residence boasts five bedrooms and four bathrooms that are spread across a sprawling 4,614 square feet of area. Despite the fact that the house already appears to have undergone renovation at some point, there's no denying that it still requires some attention, as it's said to look very dated, both inside and out.
It is not entirely clear if Ellen plans on inhabiting this space when the renovations are complete or if she is going to flip the home the way she has done with so many other properties she has purchased. Although one thing that is certain is that fans are excited about how Ellen magically transforms this residence, like many others in the past.
