Paris Hilton was first engaged in 2002 with model Jason Shaw who was eight years older than her. However, a year after their engagement, the couple decided that they were not happy with each other and decided to split in 2003. Two years after the broken engagement, Hilton was engaged to a Greek shipping heir Paris Latsis in 2005, who proposed to the heiress with 15 selections of different engagement rings. Hilton chose the 24-carat canary diamond ring, which was valued at $4.7 million. However, just after six months of being engaged, the couple broke up. She was last engaged to actor Chris Zylka who proposed to her while they were on vacation in Aspen, Colorado, in 2018. A year after the engagement, they called it off.

After her third engagement, Hilton thought to herself that she would be alone forever. The hotel heiress had been engaged three times before she met Carter. Paris Hilton claims that with Carter, it is different. The two fell in love in the midst of the global situation, which has forced everyone worldwide to rethink their lives. This has helped their relationship to blossom as the two avoided the usual baggage and problems after their previous relationships. According to a Hollywood showbiz analyst, this relationship changed Hilton, she used to be self-assured and vulnerable in sharing her experiences and trauma, but with Reum, she has opened up herself, which helped her heal. Hilton yearns for a lovely family and a stable career, and it seems that her husband shares the same values.

The couple scheduled their wedding for November 11, 2021; however, the celebrations will keep going until the weekend. The couple teased the public with their appearance at the LACMA's Art+Film Gala in Los Angeles to kick off their wedding week. Paris has made it clear that she already has weddings on her mind as she walked on the gala wearing a bridal-style ivory dress that was embellished with diamonds. It was reported that she would be wearing ten different wedding dresses, and she will be starting her wedding day with a lymphatic drainage massage. The couple will be getting married in her late grandfather Barron Hilton's property in Bel Air, California. The mansion belonged to the Hilton family for 60 years before they sold it to former Google CEO Eric Schmidt for $61.5million.

The couple plans to use the extravagant backyard of the $60million-plus property to host their guests at the nuptials. The two planned to get married in church but decided against it and just decided to hold the event at the grand mansion just a week before their wedding day. The couple invited different celebrities such as Dorit Kemsley, Garcelle Beauvais, Crystal Kung Minkoff, and Kyle Richards. It is also anticipated that Kim Kardashian, as well as other members of the family, will be attending the wedding.

The couple's wedding gave off the vibe of a tropical paradise. All the reported rumors about the wedding did actually happen. The pair got married on the 11th day of the 11th month at exactly 11:11 am. It was said to be the favorite time and day of the heiress. Following the official ceremony, the next day, the guests enjoyed a carnival party at the LA's Santa Monica pier. And the following day, the celebrations continue with the denouement coming in a black-tie ball form.
