Kenny Chesney Sells Nashville Mansion For $11.5 Million

Kenny Chesney is $11.5 million richer after selling his Nashville home. Unfortunately, the country singer didn’t get as much of a profit as he wanted from the property.

Music Mayhem reports that the crooner originally listed the property for $13.9 million when he put it on the market last year. However, after several months of being listed, Kenny agreed to sell the mansion for almost $3 million less than what he sought.

Still, the musician did make a slight profit on the home, as he originally purchased it in 2009 for $9.25 million, a year after construction was completed.

Located in Williamson County, close to Nashville, Tennessee, the home is reportedly nicknamed Bella Luca, translating to mean Beautiful Light. It spans 12,599 square feet and the mansion comes with four bedrooms and nine bathrooms.

The Mediterranean-style home features a variety of luxurious amenities, including a helipad, zero-entry swimming pool, home theatre, gym, elevator, private pond, and billiard room. It also comes with two garages with enough space for 10 vehicles.

Not only is the location desirable – the home sits upon 56 acres of woods – but so are the views. The home is surrounded by 360-degree views of rolling, green hills that offer privacy as well as a beautiful vantage point, TMZ notes.

While Kenny may be down a property, he isn’t without several other stunning homes to his name, including a Malibu beach house he purchased in 2016 for $5.2 million, which was $300,000 under the initial asking price.

At the time, Curbed reported that the beach house sits on a 6,511 square foot lot. The home, which was originally built in 1957, came with two bedrooms and three bathrooms and features ocean-front views. It also has direct beach access and was surrounded by a gate, offering its inhabitants full privacy.

The country crooner also owns a luxurious Caribbean house in St. John, part of the Virgin Islands. Kenny’s property made headlines in 2017 following Hurricane Irma, which left his mansion – and much of the Island – in ruins.

World Nation reports that 17 people took refuge in the singer’s Caribbean home during the hurricane. Luckily, no one in the staying celebrity’s home was hurt during the Category 5 storm, though the structure was decimated.

“[It’s] just simply gone,” Kenny later told the media of the destruction the hurricane did to his home, adding the event was “biblical in nature.”

The singer subsequently used his platform to raise awareness and funds to address the damage Hurricane Irma caused to St. Johns.
