Fat Joe Drops Over $450,000 On A Custom Rolls Royce

Fat Joe is rolling into 2022 in style. The New York rapper dropped a cool $450,000 on a custom Rolls Royce he’s dubbed the "Mandarin Oriental Edition." The new set of wheels will join an already extensive garage of expensive cars, which includes a 2022 PR Cullinan that the rapper picked up just a few months ago.

After Fat Joe bought the new Rolls’ he sent it over to Will Castro who hosts the popular show Unique Rides to have the whip customized. Castro reportedly worked tirelessly to ensure that Fat Joe’s new wheels met his every desire, according to TMZ.

Castro covered the luxury car's factory chrome in a gloss black to contrast with the matte exterior. Castro had the car fitted with Mandarin orange accents to accent the two-tone matte black finish. The interior comes with all of the bells and whistles, including “a shooting star headliner, custom Mandarin orange leather with matching key fob and lambswool floor mats.”

The rap mogul worked with Castro after picking up a 2019 Rolls Royce that also cost a pretty penny. The What’s Luv singer doled out about $350,000 for his 2020 Rolls-Royce Cullinan before dropping even more cash for a custom job. After all was said and done, the whip was estimated to be worth about half a million dollars, $150,000 over the average sticker price.

Fat Joe also owns a Ferrari 360 Modena, Rolls Royce Phantom, and a Cadillac Escalade.

The hip-hop veteran earned his wealth by releasing a string of hits in the early 2000s. Fat Joe has collaborated with some of the biggest names in the music industry including Dr Dre and Remy Ma. He also started the hip hop record label Terror Squad, which would release the debut album from DJ Khaled.

Fat Joe has also ventured into acting, making numerous appearances in films like Scary Movie 3, Happy Feet, Empire, Thicker Than Water, and Prison Song.

All of this has helped Fat Joe amass a fortune of roughly $4 million, while others have pegged the number much higher. Fat Joe hasn’t always been responsible with his money and served a 4-month prison sentence in 2013 after pleading guilty to tax evasion after he failed to pay income tax from 2007 to 2010.
