Blac Chyna's Pay For Reality Show Revealed In New Court Documents
Blac Chyna is ready to fight her ex-Rob and the rest of the Kardashian clan in court this week, where she plans on convincing a jury that she is owed $300 million in damages. The star is suing Rob for leaking nude photos of her after their split, and she’s taking the rest of his family to court over their alleged lies that she claims led to the cancelation of her hit show—where she was set to earn $92,500 an episode.
The socialite’s powerhouse attorney, Lynne Ciani, said that even though E! renewed Rob & Chyna for a second season, the Kardashian-Jenner clan “abused their power" to get her No. 1 hit show canceled.”
Ciani claims momager Kris Jenner acted as “the ringleader,” but Kim, Khloe, and Kylie “all played a role” in getting the show axed. The cancelation led to Chyna losing a tremendous amount of income, where she allegedly went from “$92,500 per episode to being off the airwaves entirely.”
“They knew they did not have the legal right to cancel Chyna’s show: all four defendants carried out their illegal activity in secret and repeatedly lied to Chyna’s face,” Ciani alleged.
Ciani says that the Kardashian-Jenners had an “elaborate and conniving” plot that also involved the production company Bunim/Murray, which produced both Rob & Chyna and Keeping Up with The Kardashians.
“The defendants’ illegal conduct not only cost Chyna millions and millions of dollars, their conduct was emotionally devastating to her,” Ciani said. “Kris Jenner was like a second mother to Chyna, and Kim had been her BFF for years. The extreme betrayal and humiliation felt by Chyna, after discovering the truth about what the defendants did to her, lingers to this day.”
In new court documents, Chyna breaks down some of the $300 million she is asking for in damages, including $44 million in past economic damages and another $64 million in future economic damages.
Past damages include $7.8 million for two seasons per year of Rob & Chyna, $5 million in lost income from club appearances, and $31 million in lost social media income. She lists her future damages as $11 million lost on television appearances, $7 million from club appearances, and $46 million in social media posts.
The trial starts on April 15, one day after the premiere of The Kardashians on Hulu.
