Chris Rock’s Brother Wants To Fight Will Smith After Inking Boxing Deal

Chris Rock’s younger brother Kenny Rock wants to fight Will Smith in a boxing match as the fallout from the famous slap continues. Kenny signed a deal with Celebrity Boxing founder Damon Feldman, and now he’s calling out Will to be his first opponent.

Kenny says it hurt to watch his brother get slapped in the face during the Oscars and admits that he felt helpless seeing his older brother getting attacked and admits that the nonstop replays that followed only made matters worse.

"It eats at me watching it over and over again because you’ve seen a loved one being attacked and there’s nothing you can do about it," He said in an interview with the L.A. Times. "My brother was no threat to him and you just had no respect for him at that moment. You just belittled him in front of millions of people that watch the show."

Kenny penned the deal with Celebrity Boxing for a fight later this year, but he explained that he doesn’t have an opponent just yet, but there is one man he wants to fight.

When asked whether Chris and Will should face off in the ring together, he told TMZ: “No, they shouldn’t, but I should get in the ring with Will Smith.” When questioned about his ability to win a match against the Oscar-winner, he said: “Yes, no ifs and buts about it.”

According to TMZ, Kenny says the size difference doesn’t matter. Even though Will is a lot taller and once played Muhammad Ali on screen, he seems confident in his ability to take the actor down.

Chris hasn’t said much since the viral attack, but Kenny says his older brother is “doing great,” though he has doubts that he has accepted Will’s Instagram apology.

The comedian told the audience at his Fantasy Springs comedy show gig in Palm Springs that he's keeping his lips sealed until he gets paid. He quipped: “I’m OK. I have a whole show and I’m not talking about that until I get paid.”

Will got slapped back for his Oscar antics. The academy has since banned the Men in Black star, and numerous studios have pushed his projects to the back burner.
