Drake Scores Huge Profit After NFL Star Pays $11 Million For His Mansions

Drake turned a nice profit after selling two of his California homes to a Super Bowl champion. Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford allegedly paid $11 million to pick up two of the rapper's Hidden Hills estates, $3.6 million above the asking price.

The God’s Plan rapper originally acquired the properties in 2015 and 2018 for $7.35 million. He hoped to make a modest profit of $500,000 after listing the homes for $7.4 million, but he faired a lot better after Stafford stepped in with deep pockets and paid $11 million.

One of the pads is 3,600 square feet with five bedrooms and includes an 800-square-foot guesthouse, while the other home sits at 2,400 square feet with three bedrooms.

Drake is also trying to sell his so-called “YOLO” estate, a lavish property once owned by Hugh Hefner. He listed the mansion at the same time as the properties picked up by Stafford, hoping all three properties would end up selling together for $22 million.

The Champagne Papi’s YOLO estate is the largest of the three, featuring a sprawling 12,000 square feet of living space. The English Tudor-style mansion comes with a private movie theater, a recording studio, a wine cellar, and even a tasting room.

It’s the outdoor amenities that really sell the space. The Hidden Hills mansion features a resort-like swimming pool with waterfalls, a grotto, a massive water slide, and a swim-up bar.

Drizzy isn’t just selling property—he’s also got a new addition to his property portfolio. The One Dance singer recently picked up a mansion in Beverly Crest previously owned by English singer Robbie Williams.

The Grammy winner reportedly spent $75 million on the sprawling estate, which spans 20 acres. Drake’s new crib includes 10 bedrooms, 22 bathrooms, and an 11-car garage. There’s also a wine cellar, game room, and tennis court in the backyard.

The OVO rapper has been on something of a spending spree lately. Last month, he flexed his deep pockets by copping a Frank Ocean Homer Chain rumored to be worth nearly $2 million. He previously spent nearly $1 million at a Houston, Texas strip club following the tragic Astroworld concert.

Despite his lavish spending, Drake isn't at risk of going broke. The rapper boasts a net worth of nearly $200 million, and made a decent profit on some Super Bowl bets.
