Lewis Hamilton was only nineteen when he first signed a contract to race in the Formula One Championship in 2007. After taking the racing circuit by storm in 2008 by finishing nine podium finishes in a row, Hamilton signed a $45 million five-year contract with McLaren that lasted until 2012. The next year, he switched to Mercedes-Benz when the automaker offered a two-year contract wherein he earned $52 million a year, making him one of the highest-paid F1 drivers in history. Currently, the F1 star has a two-year extension contract with Mercedes until 2023, which will add a whopping $147 million to his net worth.

10 Mercedes-Benz

After ending his contract with McLaren in 2012, Lewis Hamilton joined hands with Mercedes-Benz for a $40 million a year deal that would include the star driving in the automaker’s car and advertising their models. According to Formula One, the contract was extended in 2021 for two years. The contract ensures that Hamilton is paid $147 million for staying with Mercedes-Benz until 2023.

9 Tommy Hilfiger

In 2018, Mercedes-Benz signed Tommy Hilfiger as its newest partner to join the Formula One team as the Official Apparel partner. The multi-year deal pays Hamilton $5.2 million to wear the brand’s logo on his jersey. Additionally, he also became the face of the brand for its Menswear line and launched a TOMMYXLEWIS Collection in Fall 2019 that featured clothing apparel and accessories.

8 Monster Energy

Based in Corona, California, Monster Energy is one of the leading energy drinks manufacturers in the United States. In 2017, the brand teamed up with Mercedes-Benz and became its global partner for $2.5 million. Along with working on Formula One advertisements, Lewis Hamilton also worked separately with the brand to launch his signature energy drink together, as reported by Monster Energy.

7 Puma

Puma signed a long-term deal with Mercedes-Benz F1 in 2019 to become its official merchandise retail partner for the fee of $2.61 million. Along with Hamilton wearing the brand and advertising the clothes, the company also acquired the rights to produce, design, and sell the Formula One branded products on the trackside for the gearhead fans.

Union Bank Of has been a long-standing brand endorsement of Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes-Benz over the last decade. UBS pays handsomely to the automaker and Hamilton, upwards of $9 million. Bose's audio equipment company was a long-standing partner with Mercedes Benz since Lewis Hamilton signed with the F1 team in 2012. The contract ensured that the team used Bose devices during the game, including the Team Principal and CEO Toto Wolff wearing the headsets for races. In 2022, the $3.2 million a year long-term deal ended with Bose.

Lewis Hamilton’s other notable brand endorsements include Tibco, Wihuri, Puma, and Epson.
