Travis Scott Sells Out First Concert Post-Astroworld

Travis Scott’s last public concert ended in tragedy, but apparently that hasn’t curbed ticket sales. The rapper performed to a sold-out crowd earlier this morning at Miami’s E11EVEN Club, which was part of the Formula 1 Race Week celebration.

According to E! News, Travis had a meal at Prime 112 before heading to the club around 3a.m. where he headed directly for the D.J. booth. “[Everyone] better lose their mother***ing minds,” he shouted to the crowd upon taking the microphone.

Travis ended up performing for 45-minutes, giving the concert-goers a rendition of his hits like “Sicko Mode” and “Goosebumps.” He didn’t do the performance solo, either, as Quavo and Migos also joined him.

E! News reports that Travis encouraged attendees to takes shots and was very engaged with the crowd. When he noticed social media sensation Logan Paul, he called him out directly, saying, “The one thing I know about you is that you turn the F up.”

Kylie Jenner – who shares 4-year old daughter Stormi and a 3-month old son with Travis – was not spotted at the club event.

This marks the first time Travis has made a performance following the fatal Astroworld tragedy in November, which claimed the lives of 10 people and injured hundreds of others.

Prior to today’s concert – which had tickets directly available to the public – Travis had only made performances at private events. This included a performance at Darren Dzienciol and Richie Akiva's pre-Oscar’s party in March. The Bel-Air event featured a host of famous faces, including Leonardo DiCaprio.

More recently, Travis made waves when he performed a set at a Revolve’s Coachella after-party on April 16th where he gave a short set.

Travis received significant backlash following the Astroworld festival. He was criticized for continuing to perform as the crowd surge as well as for attending an after-part following the controversy.

It’s also been alleged that the festival (which was founded and is annually headlined by Travis in his hometown) didn’t take proper security precautions.

"I'm absolutely devastated by what took place last night," Travis said in a statement following the fatal festival. "My prayers go out to the families and all those impacted by what happened at Astroworld Festival. Houston PD has my total support as they continue to look into the tragic loss of life.”

Travis is currently facing several lawsuits over the festival, which reports say now total over $100 million. The lawsuits also name Drake, who performed at the festival, as well as Apple Music, Live Nation, NRG Stadium. The cases remain ongoing.
