Ben & Jen Appear To Have Bought Danny DeVito’s Old Home
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have been on the hunt for the perfect home for months, but they may have already found it. According to new reports, it appears the couple have bought a lavish estate formerly owned by billionaire James Packer.
As per TMZ, Jennifer’s car was spotted parked in front of the Beverly Hills mansion in addition to four moving trucks. Even more telling, moving trucks were spotted at Ben and Jen’s respective homes earlier in the day, suggesting the pair were officially moving in.
The purchase hasn’t been confirmed nor has the selling price of the estate. But James reportedly bought the home in 2018 for $60 million, so it’s likely the property sold for much more in todays’ real estate market.
The estate has had a host of celebrity owners. Prior to James, it was owned by Danny DeVito and Rhea Pearlman.
With over 29,000 square feet of living space, the estate boasts a variety of impressive features, explaining the heavy price tag. It comes with an 8-car garage, a huge motor court, and a kitchen that’s entirely marble. Other amenities include a theatre room, wine cellar, a lounge, beauty salon, and a cigar room. The property spans almost 2 acres.
Interestingly, the property wasn’t even listed on the market when Ben and Jen apparently scooped it up. The couple may have been the only people to view it before they sealed the deal.
Ben and Jen – who became engaged earlier this year – almost bought a $55 million mansion in April. The couple were spotted touring the home, which was previously bought by Todd Lemkin in 2016.
However, sources said that while the pair were ready to finalize an offer, they pulled out at the last minute for unknown reasons. It’s suspected they saw something in the home during the final inspection that they didn’t like.
The stunning mansion, referred to as the Bellagio Estate, comes with 10 bedrooms and 17 bathrooms. Its features include a spa, infinity pool, theatre room, and wet bar.
Later, Ben and Jen expressed interest in Aaron Spelling’s former mansion, which was recently listed for $165 million. With over 56,000 square feet of living space and sitting on 4.6 acre of property, the estate comes with a pool and jacuzzi, indoor bowling alley, on-site hair salon, and theatre room.
Whether Ben and Jen have found secured dream home or not, their big budget guarantees whatever they choose will nothing less than luxurious.
