Here's How Nas Daily Became One Of The Richest YouTubers In The World

Arab–Israeli vlogger Nas Daily has become one of the most influential content creators on Facebook and YouTube. He is among the influencers with massive following with over 44 million followers across all his social media accounts which supports 13 languages. He became widely popular with his 1,000 daily one minute videos which were uploaded on Facebook, and YouTube and later on to TikTok and Instagram.

With all the fame and popularity, Nas Daily was able to gain an estimated net worth of $5 million which seems to be net worth of the Nas Daily brand alone, some sources claim that Nas’ overall net worth is currently at $44.75 million. Nas Daily whose real name is Nuseir Yassin was born on February 9, 1992 in Arraba Israel. He was born to an Arab Muslim family who possess Palestinian descent. Nas describes himself as a Palestinian Israeli since he is a Palestinian possessing Israeli citizenship. He has three other siblings and his mother is a teacher while his father is a psychologist. Nas’ native language is Palestinian Arabic however he also speaks native level English and non-fluent Hebrew. Nas was raised to in a Muslim household however he largely stopped practicing the religion and has declared himself as the non-religious Muslim.

At the age of 19 years old, he applied to the prestigious Harvard University to seek a degree in the aerospace engineering and even received a scholarship for it. His application included an essay detailing his life struggles in order to achieve his dreams as an ethnic Arab who was born in Israel. He eventually graduated from the prestigious university with a degree in economics with a minor in computer science in 2014. During the time when he was still studying, he has co-founded a social media search engine and a pay-it-forward registration service. As soon as he graduated, he started working for the mobile payment service owned by PayPal, Venmo, as a software developer in New York.

After two years of working for Venmo, he decided to quit his job and explore the world. He intended to document his travels and experiences around the world through his videos. He then created his Facebook Page called Nas Daily where he shared videos with one minute long duration for 1,000 days. He was able to meet Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg in the early 2018 and that is when his Facebook Page was upgraded to show status. By September 2018, he was able to grow his page with massive followers of 8 million just two years after starting it. Just after two months, his followers grew even more with about 10 million followers. All of the one minute videos posted daily is only shared on Facebook and when asked in 2017 about trying to upload the videos to YouTube, he stated that he has a lot reasons not to upload on the said platform one of which is that his friends are not on the said platform.

He eventually decided to upload his old videos to YouTube in 2019 through his official YouTube channel called Nas Daily Official. At the time, his videos are shot with the use of an SLR camera with a microphone attached to it. He edits the videos for the whole day and releases them the next day. Initially, the topics for his upcoming videos were the suggestions of his Facebook followers. Each of his videos always ends with him saying ‘that’s one minute, see you tomorrow’. Through the years, he has also collaborated with numerous vloggers including his his girlfriend Alyne Tamir, and a video blogger and musician from Poland, Agon Hare.

Nas Daily’s videos are widely popular and became a hit on YouTube and Facebook because it is concise with just a minute long yet very informative and showcases the beauty of the places he has been too. Due to the popularity of his videos with the non-English speaking audiences there are numerous subtitles added in different languages including Thai, Bahasa, Japanese, Urdu, Turkish, Hindi, Chinese and Arabic.

Nas planned to release his every day journey through 1,000 daily one-minute video and on January 5, 2019, he finally finished uploading the 1,000 videos. His 1,000th video ended with the tagline ‘that's one minute, see you soon’. The following month, he started releasing just one video in a week and planned to upload one video daily for 100 weeks which has ended at the beginning of 2021. He initially lived in Singapore but he is currently residing in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He also released his memoir titled Around the World in 60 Seconds: The Nas Daily Journey which was released last November 5, 2019.

With the intention of helping others succeed in vlogging, he has founded a school with different courses called Nas Academy as well as a video-production studio called Nas Studios. The courses on the Nas Academy includes How To Master NFTs in 7 Days by Ben Yu, How to Do A Million Things All At Once by Dhruv Rathee, The Fundamentals of Sound Design by Epidemic Sound & TMS Productions, How To Be A Queen by Ms. Universe 2016 Catriona Gray, How To Crush It On Tiktok by Ming Wei and a lot more. The courses start at $30. Initially there is an educational course provided by Filipino Kalinga tattoo artist Whang-Od which tackles traditional tattooing however Nas was called out by the grandniece of the artist and revealed that they never had consent to the course being offered. Nas Academy eventually removed the said course.
