Inside Travis Barker's Luxurious Calabasas Home | TheRichest.com

Travis Barker first became a part of the punk group Aquabats in the early 1990s before filling in as the drummer for Blink-182 in 1996 and becoming a permanent member two years later. The band shot to stardom with their debut album, and their single All The Small Things reached the sixth spot on the Billboard Hot 100. Through his music, clothing line, and memoir, Travis Barker has amassed a $50 million fortune that he likes to spend on real estate and luxury cars. In 2022, he redesigned his home in Calabasas to stay closer to his now-wife Kourtney Kardashian and settled his roots in the neighborhood.

Leaving his punk-style décor behind, Travis Barker has a Zen-like contemporary home in his hands that can be enjoyed by his children, step-children, and his wife. A house with a myriad of amenities, family memorabilia, and gifts, let’s look at the luxurious features of Travis Barker’s Calabasas home.

The Kardashians are known to live in classy yet soft estates in California, and Travis Barker consulted Kris Jenner before he began designing the interior for his home. According to Metro, he consulted LA-based designer Waldo Fernandez who helped him transform the house into a simple yet peaceful one that he has owned for more than fifteen years. Fernandez is an LA-based designer known for redecorating celebrity homes with various styles and periods.

The drummer has a reputation for being a punk star through his music and albums. However, he shed the punk star reputation when designing his home. Barker admitted that he has had a house with flashy cars, bikes, and odd murals; however, he wanted to create an abode that the family could enjoy. As mentioned by HypeBeast, he switched to a minimalist interior that would bring him tranquility and peace of mind.

The dramatic entrance has a white stone archway that leads to the double doors and the living room. The custom sofa is wrapped in a Dominique Kieffer fabric, while Waldo Fernandez makes the lounge chairs. The living area offers direct access to the outdoors. Along with a cozy family room, the dining area has a customized center table with chairs designed by Pierre Jeanneret. The cozy home also has a Theatre Room with a projector screen and comfortable bean bags for seating.

Each room has massive spaces, including the kitchen and the Master Suite. The kitchen has a monochromatic tone with a large island and multiple cooking stations. It features ornate wall ovens and a sub-zero refrigerator. The Master Suite has a fireplace and a LED TV alongside a spacious chaise lounge. It has a walk-in closet stocked with his concert costumes and outfits.

While some interior elements in the house are used for decoration purposes, Barker ensures that he makes Kourtney’s and the children’s gifts a part of the architecture. Throughout their friendship over the years, Barker has saved many gifts from her. He displays her gifted candle holders in the dining room while the painting of his five favorite albums hangs over the fireplace, as noted by People. His bedroom decor features photos of his children and paintings gifted by his and Kourtney’s kids.

Furnished with an urban element, the artwork around the house encapsulates Travis Barker’s persona as a punk rockstar. His art pieces include Raymond Pettibon pieces which include his early work and the image-to-text paintings from his contemporary collection. As stated by Architectural Digest, he also has an Andy Warhol Dracula painting at the entrance foyer. Barker purchased the Dracula painting when he was nineteen and touring New York.

A family home is never complete without the perfect backyard, and Travis Barker has maintained an ample space to enjoy the sun. The backyard can be accessed from almost every homeroom and comes with a rectangular pool with a spa. Alongside the lounge chairs, there is a traditional mid-century gazebo with a seating area to enjoy the heat under the shades.

One of the reasons why Travis Barker chose the home was to be closer to the Kourtney Kardashian and her children, who live a block away from his home in Calabasas. While the couple divides their time between the two houses, Barker has plans to convert his home studio into a space for Kourtney’s children so they can spend time with them.

Upon the suggestion of Kris Jenner, Travis Barker has converted one of his best properties into a contemporary, urban mansion that feels like a complete family home. Surrounded by privacy and shrouded by palm trees, the house is the perfect getaway from the flashing camera. The couple already spent most of their time on their estate as they are often spotted walking around the neighborhood.
