Got $20.5 Million? Cristiano Ronaldo Is Selling His Jet Since It’s Too Small

For anyone in the market for a private jet, Cristiano Ronaldo just listed his for a million-dollar price tag. According to Marca, the soccer star decided to list the jet after it outgrew his family. With five kids, the athlete is apparently looking for something bigger.

His current jet, known as the Real Madrid, can seat up to 10 passengers. It can reach speeds up to 901 kph per hour, and comes with an array of features, including beds, kitchen appliances, and Wi-Fi connection.

The aircraft was 1 of 250 made in 2006. Cristiano acquired it in 2015, and refurbished it in 2019.

Although a 10-passenger jet may seem large in size to the average person, it only leaves room for 3 additional guests when Cristiano is travelling with his whole family. The Portuguese player welcomed his first child, Cristiano Jr., in 2010. The identity of the pre-teen’s mother hasn’t been revealed.

Cristiano later welcomed a set of twins, Eva and Mateo, via surrogate in 2017. The same year, his girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez delivered their daughter, Alana. She went on to give birth to twins earlier this year, however, their son died during childbirth. They announced their daughter Bella’s safe arrival shortly after.

It’s unclear how much Cristiano is hoping to make from the sale of his jet, but he originally purchased the Gulfstream G200 for $20 million euros (roughly $20.5 million), so it’ll likely have a high resale price.

In the meantime, Cristiano reportedly rents the jet out to help offset its cost. It’s estimated the jet goes for $6,000 to $10,000 euros per flight, depending on where passengers are taking the aircraft.

This isn’t the only private jet Cristiano has at his disposal. He also reportedly owns a Gulfstream G650, valued at $64.5 million. The larger aircraft can hold up to 18 passengers and can reach 956 kph.

Known for being one of the quietest jets in the world, it features four living areas, divided into sleep, work, dining, and relaxing spaces.

So, even if Cristiano sells his smaller jet before investing in something new, he’ll still have this luxury aircraft at his disposal. And with a net worth of $1 billion, Cristiano can certainly afford to buy himself another private jet (or two).
