Here's How Twitch Steamer Hasan Piker Spends His Millions
Twitch streamer, Hasan Piker started his career in his senior year of college by interning for Cenk Uygur, Piker's uncle, on his network The Young Turks. After that, he started his own show on the network and starting establishing himself as a political commentator. 2020 became a crucial year for him as he decided to move on from The Young Turks and start an independent path on Twitch. Since then, he has become a hit on the live stream platform and elevated himself financially.
In February, he live streamed going to the dealership to purchase the car. Normally people wouldn't think too much about a wealthy person making that kind of investment. That wasn't the case for Piker as some that him doing made him contradictory as he is known for liberal and socialism views. Parts of his Twitter response to the criticism included him saying "nobody thinks I’m some socialist Jesus. I’m a Twitch streamer telling you why you’re probably angry. All my content is free everywhere. I let people make money off their fan channels."
Not too long after buying his Porsche Taycan, he collaborated with CARE in their efforts to fund relief in Ukraine. CARE said their money will help give "immediate aid and recovery, food, water, hygiene kits, psychosocial support, and cash assistance" for Ukraine citizens trying to flee from the country. Piker helped them in a raise money by playing a video game called Elden Ring and donated every time his character got killed. In under 30 minutes he was able to raise $l00,000 with the final total being over $200,000.
Due to his image on the internet, another move that caused some controversy was the purchase of his $2.7 million home in West Hollywood, California. Regardless of critics opinions on him, this indicates how successful he has been on Twitch to be able to afford a almost $3 million home with five bedrooms after just being on the platform for just over a year and a half at the time he bought it.

When Hasan Piker started his first merchandise line in late 2021, he decided to donate all his earnings to strike funds. He said that he "wanted to make sure it wasn’t just regular Chinese factory drop shipping merch." Piker continued, “so what I wanted to do was make sure it was unionized, domestically manufactured, and also that the art was sick." Some of the designs included a spoof of Ronald Reagan's campaign against drugs and a zombie version of 2016 and 2020 presidential candidate Bernie Sanders.
While the Supreme Court's decision to reverse Roe V. Wade was made last month, their decision to do so was leaked in early May. Piker responded by donating over $2,000 to a non profit reproductive health organization residing in Rio Grande Valley. During his May 3 Twitch stream, he stated he would donate to the Texas Equal Access Fund and Frontera Fund along with the possibility of other abortion non profits as time passes by.
A former contest on MasterChef, Christine Corley, was going through a rough time figuring out how to pay her hospital bills and started a GoFundMe page. Piker got notified of the page and gave she a pleasant surprise by donating $10,000. He also encouraged his fan base to donate to her GoFundMe. With the combined efforts of Piker and his followers, she was able to reach her goal of $30,000. This was around the Christmas season, so this served as a major gift.
Piker has a lengthy list of video games and will from time to time play them during his streams asides from his usual political commentary and video reactions. The gaming systems he has are PS5, PS4 and PC. Some of the games that he has played during his live stream career includes Grand Theft Auto V, God of War , Life is Strange , Marvel's Spider-Man and Watch Dogs Legion.
