Intruder Arrested Trying To Break Into Kim Kardashian’s Home (Again)

Kim Kardashian was nearly the victim of another break-in on Saturday morning when an intruder was apprehended trying to get into her $60 million Calabasas mansion. According to TMZ, the perpetrator has been identified as Deandre Williams. He was arrested by security officers at the main gates of Kim’s gated community.

Sources told the publication he “was able to penetrate the initial barrier and slip through community security at first -- but didn't get far due to an early detection intruder system managed by armed guards and motion detectors.”

Though security had a “scuffle” with Deandre before they were able to detain him, police quickly showed up and arrested him. The intruder was charged with battery and trespassing.

Deandre is allegedly obsessed with the Kardashian-Jenner family, particularly Kim. He’s reportedly stalked her on three separation occasions. TMZ notes that Deandre has been seen on Kim’s surveillance videos.

Neither Kim nor her four children were home at the time of the break-in.

Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time Kim has been faced with an intruder. Just last year, a man broke into the same mansion, claiming Kim was his wife. He was charged with trespassing before he was eventually let go.

Kim was infamously robbed at gunpoint in Paris in 2016 after multiple intruders broke into her hotel room. They made off with over $10 million in jewelry, including a $4.5 million ring that was given to Kim by her then-husband Kanye West.

One of the men charged with the robbery, Yunis Abbas, gave an interview earlier this year where he said he feels no remorse over the crime.

“Since she was throwing money away, I was there to collect it, and that was that. Guilty? No, I don’t care,” he told VICE.

“I went on the internet, and it’s true, I saw her jewelry, I saw her ring, I saw that she showed it everywhere, and we knew this information through social media,” he added.

Last week, reports said that Kim had increased the security at her children’s school out of fear that their family is a bigger target due to Kanye’s recent controversies (which include anti-Semitic comments, promoting a “White Lives Matter” shirt, and calling Black Lives Matter a “scam).

Sources say the reality star is paying for additional security measures at the school for the foreseeable future. It’s not clear how much she’s paying, but she may increase the security even further given the most recent break-in attempt.
