Ben Affleck Is Saying Goodbye To His $30 Million Bachelor Pad
Now that he’s married again, Ben Affleck is saying goodbye to his bachelor pad.
The actor has reportedly listed his Pacific Palisades estate for $30 million. He bought the property several years ago for $19 million, following his separation from Jennifer Garner. Ben chose the property to be close to his ex-wife and their three children.
For a time, the property was Ben’s main residence. When he briefly dated Anna de Armas in 2020, sources said she was thinking about moving into the mansion with Ben.
“This house has become Ben’s sanctuary, and it’s been the ideal place for him to make a totally fresh start,” an insider said at the time. “The kids spend a ton of time there and Ben has decked it out to incorporate his clean lifestyle plus offer them features to make it lots of fun when they come over.”
The mansion’s extensive features explains its high price tag. Situated on gated grounds near the Riviera Country Club, the home features over 13,500 square feet of living space. It comes with marble countertops, a walk-in wine cellar, a movie theatre, a spa-like bathroom, and a recreation room with a bar.
The home also has a variety of outdoor amenities, including a pool with a hot tub and slide, a guest house, and manicured lawns.
Ben’s decision to sell the estate may have something to do with his recent marriage to Jennifer Lopez.
The pair tied the knot in mid-2022 after rekindling their romance the year prior. The couple originally dated for several years in the early 2000s and were even engaged before breaking up in 2002.
In August, it was reported that Ben and Jen plan to move into her Bel-Air home following renovations. She originally bought the property in 2016. Until then, they’ve been renting a mansion previously owned by billionaire James Packer, which is reportedly worth $60 million.
Ben’s decision to sell his Pacific Palisades estate signals the couple are preparing to make Jen’s Bel-Air mansion their full-time residence.
However, Ben still has a number of other properties to his name, including the Savannah, Georgia compound where he and Jen celebrated their nuptials in lavish fashion. The estate features 87-acres and three houses. Ben has owned the property for nearly two decades, after buying it in 2003 for $7.5 million.
He’s put it on the market several times over the years, including in 2019 with a $7.6 million price tag, though it failed to sell. But it doesn’t currently appear to be on the market.
