Greek Shipping Heir Lists High-Priced Beverly Hills Rental Mansion For $50,000 Per Month
Greek shipping heir, socialite, film producer, and ship owner. He is the grandson of the shipping multi-billionaire tycoon Yiannis "John S." Latsis. Paris Kasidokostas-Latsis has been quite active on the Beverly Hills real estate scene this year, where he’s been busy juggling multiple high-end properties. Over the summer, the shipping heir-turned-film producer offloaded a 90210 residence once leased out to rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs to a Virgin Island-based financier; in September, records indicate he bought a $23 million mansion in the area (more on that later). Now he’s back at it again, hoisting another house in the same vicinity onto the rental market for a hefty $50,000 per month.
With six bedrooms and nine baths spread across almost 7,300 square feet of fully furnished living space on two levels, the mansion offers more than enough room for any like-minded billionaire to easily relax in style amid hotel-like amenities. Kassidokostas-Latsis purchased the house way back in 2010 for $7.3 million, with property records showing the place was last offered for lease in 2017 at an even higher $75,000 per month.
Kassidokostas-Latsis’ newly listed rental is walled and gated, and sited on a nearly half-acre parcel in the Beverly Hills Flats neighborhood. Originally built in the late 1920s, the beige-hued stucco and brick-accented estate recently underwent an extensive remodel complete with European oak wood floors and steel-cased doors providing seamless indoor-outdoor environs. There’s also a detached guesthouse with a gym and steam room, per Dirt.
Main-level highlights include a formal entry foyer displaying a curving staircase, which flows into a fireside living room marked by a high-pitched ceiling and doors that open to the backyard, chandelier-topped dining room, and spacious family room sporting a wet bar and surround sound. A wide hallway leads to the gourmet kitchen, which is outfitted an eat-in island, top-tier stainless appliances, a breakfast nook, and access to a covered and heated al fresco dining terrace.
Most of the bedrooms can be found upstairs, including an inviting master retreat boasting a private balcony, walk-in closet, and luxe bath equipped with dual vanities and a soaking tub; and elsewhere is a separate office with its own entrance. Outdoors, the grassy and hedge-lined backyard hosts a pool and spa, kitchen and barbecue setup ideal for entertaining, and the aforementioned guesthouse.
