The actor believes that the pricey rehab sessions and several surgeries saved his life. He reportedly spent a total of $9 million in trying to get better and checking in to the most expensive rehabs just so he can finally get his life together. Thankfully he was able to get better after costing him millions along the way.

In 2015, he sold his Malibu estate for the price of $10.65 million and then bought another property in the same area for $11 million. The Friends actor launched a limited edition apparel line inspired by the comedy sitcom he starred in. It was a non-profit drive that aims to help the World Health Organisation. The proceeds from the sales were donated straight to the WHO's Covid-19 relief fund. The online shop that the actor launched was called Could this BE any more of a Matthew Perry merch store in reference to his onscreen persona in the beloved 1990s sitcom.
They sold t-shirts, mugs, baseball caps and hoodies. The actor promoted the clothing line on his Instagram with a caption "What is this, a limited edition t-shirt for charity?
