Raised in Knoxville, Tennessee by her radio sales manager father and marketing specialist mother, Kelsea's roots run deep in the heart of country music. From a young age, she was no stranger to the stage, singing in church and school choirs and taking dance lessons at the tender age of three. But it wasn't until she wrote her first song for her mother at the age of 12 that the world began to take notice of her talents.

Fast forward a few years, and Kelsea moved to Nashville to pursue a career in music, attending both Centennial High School and Lipscomb University along the way. But that's just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Kelsea Ballerini's life story. From her engagement and subsequent marriage to Australian country singer Morgan Evans to the allegations of an affair with The Chainsmokers' Drew Taggart, and her recent romance with Outer Banks actor Chase Stokes, this girl's life has been anything but dull. There is a lot to know about Kelsea Ballerini, the country music sensation with a life as colorful as her songs.

Kelsea Ballerini was just 19 when she signed a deal with Black River Entertainment, launching her career in the country music scene. Her debut single, Love Me Like You Mean It debuted on the Country Airplay chart in October 2014 and she quickly followed with a self-titled extended play for the label. Her first major performance at the Grand Ole Opry on February 14, 2015, where she sang Love Me Like You Mean It was a milestone moment in her career. The release of her debut album, The First Time, on May 19, 2015, was a major breakthrough for Ballerini and she continued to make history with her two singles, Dibs and Peter Pan, which reached number one on the Country Airplay chart.

In November 2017, Kelsea released her second album, Unapologetically, which debuted at number three on the Billboard Top Country Album Chart and number seven on the Billboard 200 Album Chart, making it her highest-charting album on both charts. She continued to release hits, such as I Hate Love Songs and Miss Me More. She embarked on the Miss Me More Tour in support of Unapologetically in April 2019, which sold out multiple dates. Ballerini's unique and dynamic talent continues to captivate audiences, and her career shows no signs of slowing down.
