‘Jackass’ Star Ben Margera’s Ex Wants $15,000 Per Month In Child Support

For a time, it seemed Bam Margera was turning his life around, as he reportedly entered rehab in an effort to get his life in a different direction. However, the Jackass star’s estranged wife is still moving forward with a divorce and is also requesting hefty child support payments.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Nikki Boyd has requested that Bam be ordered to pay spousal support as well as child support for their 5-year-old son, Phoenix.

Specifically, Nikki is hoping for $15,000 per month in child support. She says that is equal to her monthly expenses. She didn’t name an exact figure for spousal support. She’s additionally requesting full physical and legal custody of the boy and is hoping Bam will only be given supervised visitation.

Moreover, Nikki also wants Bam to cover all of her attorney fees, which so far have amounted to $50,000. She provided evidence to show that she only makes $4,000 per month between family and government assistance, which Nikki argues pales in comparison to Bam’s income.

Bam has a reported net worth of $1 million, though Nikki claims his wealth is $55 milion in cout documents. He’s made his fortune largely through the Jackass franchise, including its spin-off shows like Viva La Bam, Bam's Unholy Union, Bam's World Domination, and Bam's Bad Ass Game Show.

He was supposed to be a part of the 2020 film Jackass Forever but was fired from production due to alleged drug and alcohol issues.

After being let go, Bam filed a wrongful termination lawsuit against the movie’s director Jeff Tremaine, star Johnny Knoxville, and studio Paramount Pictures in the suit. He was seeking millions of dollars in compensation.

“I did not have any issues with addiction and drug use until I began my involvement […] with the Jackass franchise,” Bam stated in court documents.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Bam went on, "My lawsuit isn't just about compensation,” he said. “It's about treating people with mental health and addiction issues in an honest manner and not taking advantage of their disabilities to rip them off."

A private settlement was eventually reached. Shortly after, Bam announced he was checking himself into rehab.

However, the actor caused concern earlier this year when he reportedly went missing while trying to evade arrest following a conflict with his brother. Bam eventually turned himself into authorities in April.

In a public statement, Bam called the charges “false” and said he plans to file a lawsuit over the debacle. So far, the stuntman hasn’t responded to his estranged wife’s child support request.
