Taylor Swift Attends Jack Antonoff & Margaret Qualley’s Luxe Wedding That Cost A Fortune
Jack Antonoff and Margaret Qualley didn’t hold back when it came to their nuptials last weekend, as the couple reportedly spent a small fortune on hosting a variety of famous faces.
Exact figures for the couple’s wedding bills are unknown, but they likely spent a large chunk of change on the luxe wedding.
Hosted in New Jersey, they reportedly had hundreds of people in attendance. The staff and security alone needed to facilitate the crowd, especially with paparazzi swarming the event, would cost a hefty bill.
The wedding itself was held at the nautical-themed Parker's Garage & Oyster Saloon, while the pair later hosted an afterparty at a local pub. Renting each venue likely cost tens of thousands, not to mention the food and drink bill.
Moreover, the couple enlisted Lana Del Ray to perform. It’s not clear if they paid for the performance, as Lana often collaborates with Jack, so she may have been a guest. But private performances from pop stars can easily cost six figures, or over a million, depending on their star power and the context (like if travel is necessary or not).
The wedding had a high-profile guest list. Margaret’s mother Andie MacDowell was unsurprisingly in attendance. Other famous guests included Mae Whitman, Cara Delevingne, Channing Tatum and Zoe Kravitz.
Perhaps one of the most famous guest was Taylor Swift, who took a break from her Eras tour to attend. Taylor is a frequent collaborator and close friend of Antonoff, so her attendance was to be expected.
It was first reported that Jack proposed to Margaret in June with an engagement ring reportedly worth $100,000.
“The center diamond is approximately 1.30 carats and looks to be a D colored diamond, the highest grade diamond available,” Neil Dutta, Managing Director of Angelic Diamonds, said at the time.
“The center diamond is approximately 1.30 carats and looks to be a D colored diamond, the highest grade diamond available,” he went on. “It is clear that this vintage engagement ring holds a lot of meaning for the couple, and vintage-style rings have grown a lot in popularity over the past few years. I would estimate that the ring is worth $34,500.”
Conversely, Mike Fried, CEO of The Diamond Pro, estimates the ring is around $100,000.
"Margaret's beautiful diamond ring looks to be 4 carats and I'd estimate the value is near $100,000 depending on the quality of the stone,” Fried explained. “The ring is made of either white gold or platinum and carries a timeless look.”
Either way, Margaret has a beautiful ring on her finger and a new husband on her arm.
