Snoop Dogg’s Homes: Real Estate Portfolio Fit For A Hip-Hop Royalty

Snoop Dogg came through the static of early ’90s rap like a signal too smooth to scramble, stretching syllables like smoke trails and giving each verse the weight of a lived-in truth. Born Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr. in Long Beach, California, he stepped into the public consciousness in 1992 with a guest verse on Dr. Dre’s Deep Cover. Snoop Dogg lit the fuse with Doggystyle in 1993, a debut that blew the doors off the Billboard 200 and kept climbing until quadruple platinum felt like a formality. Snoop's second studio album, Tha Doggfather, debuted at the top of the chart in 1996 and achieved double platinum recognition.
