John Goodman Sells New Orleans Home After Cutting Asking Price By $700K

A buyer has stepped forward for John Goodman’s historic New Orleans home, which hit the market six months ago with a $5.5 million price tag that was eventually lowered by $700,000. Goodman bought the four-bedroom, four-and-a-half-bath property in 2005, 16 years after he and his wife, Anna Beth, made the move from Los Angeles to Louisiana. The Primetime Emmy winner purchased the home directly from Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor in an off-market deal for $1.8 million.
