‘DO YOU GUYS PICK UP?’: Wanted woman cuffed after taunting cops on Facebook

A Pennsylvania woman wasn’t very bright when it came to evading cops last month.

Chloe Jones, facing assault charges, made the Green County Sheriff’s Office’s “Top Ten Most Wanted List” in late March after skipping a court appearance.

When the list was posted on March 27 on the sheriff’s office’s Facebook page – with Jones ranked second – the woman commented below it, writing: “Do you do pick up or delivery?”

The comment Chloe Jones reportedly left on Facebook. (Greene County Sheriff’s Office/Facebook)

Jones did more than just make a cheeky comment. The woman also reportedly took time to argue with other commenters. According to news outlet WDTV, while responding to other commenters, Jones let it slip that she was in a hospital in West Virginia.

With that clue and others from people in both West Virginia and Pennsylvania, Morgantown police arrested Jones and brought her back to her home state.

Green County Sheriff’s Office officials had a little fun with Jones’ arrest with a comeback Facebook post on Tuesday.

“Ms. Chloe Jones and her witty comments are taking a hiatus from our Facebook comments section due to the jail not having internet for her to use,” cops wrote. “Thank you to the citizens of Greene County, Monongalia County and many others for your tips that lead to her arrest. Morgantown Police were able to take her into custody this evening.”
