Too Short Takes Too Long To Become A Dad, Has First Child At 53
Too Short is finally a father, and it only took him 53 years.
The Los Angeles Rapper, named Todd Shaw, welcomed his first child to the world back in December but kept mum on that front for several months and has managed to keep her existence a secret until now.
Sources close to the half-centurion have told TMZ that the "I'm a Player" rapper isn't looking to be a player anymore and his girlfriend Sue gave birth to their daughter - named Yani Shaw - at the end of last year.
Having kept the development under wraps, Too Short has already introduced Yani to the spotlight and is shooting a documentary with Ray J and his manager David Weintraub about raising baby girls in Hollywood.

What we don't know is whether or not Too Short will be looking to give his firstborn a few siblings but, given that he took this long to get off the mark, we could forgive him for deciding that one is enough.
The 53-year-old, also known as Short Dogg, is considered a rap pioneer. He established himself as an underground icon at a very young age and has followed it up with a long career.
Despite being as famous as he is, Short Dogg stayed true to his rap persona remarkably long and managed to avoid fatherhood until last year. Of course, the revelation caused quite a stir among fans on social media.
"My boi Too Short had his 1st baby at 53," a fan tweeted, "real legendary Mack sh*t there..."
Another wrote: "Player's take their time to procreate lol."
That too short is 53 years old was more shocking to a fan than the rapper having his first kid at 53.
Well, at least he's off the mark. Plus, according to Wikipedia, his birthday is in April; that would mean he was 52 when Yani was born. Of course, that's hardly going to make things better where the wisecracks are concerned, but congrats player!
