Lamar Jackson Led NFL In Merchandise Sales On Cyber Monday
Baltimore Ravens' quarterback Lamar Jackson is enjoying an MVP-caliber season, and his team sits atop the AFC with a 10-2 record.
Jackson has taken the league by storm, erasing any doubt about his ability to work as a dual-threat quarterback in the NFL. This is happening one year after Patrick Mahomes dominated the competition with a 50-touchdown season that saw him win the MVP award.
Simply put, Jackson is the biggest and most talked-about player in the NFL right now. And according to Fanatics, Jackson topped all NFL players in merchandise sales during Cyber Monday, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Jackson has led the Ravens to a string of impressive victories against other top-tier teams. It started with a Week 7 road win against the Seattle Seahawks, followed by a 37-20 thrashing of the defending Super bowl champion New England Patriots in Week 9.
In Week 11, Jackson and the Ravens ran all over the Houston Texans, keeping Deshaun Watson in check as they cruised to a 41-7 victory. Eight days later, Baltimore pummeled the defending NFC Champion Los Angeles Rams by a final score of 45-6, as Jackson tossed five touchdown passes while rushing another one in.

This past Sunday, Jackson's Ravens barely squeaked out a 20-17 home victory over the San Francisco 49ers, who entered Week 13 with the league's best record at 10-1. Jackson crosses the 100-yard rushing mark as he put another stamp on his case for MVP.
Interestingly, Jackson didn't place in the top 10 for NFL player jersey sales at the end of October. Now, one has to think that Jackson's jersey is selling at a rapid pace, given his Grade-A performances over the past month.
If Jackson and the Ravens win out - or if they at least match the Patriots' record by season's end - the AFC road to Super Bowl LIV in Miami will run through Baltimore for the first time in history.
