Armageddon (1998) is one of those movies that's always being played on television. It's a fun film to have on if you want to kill time or if you're actually a fan. The storyline is based on an asteroid plummeting towards earth that could destroy all mankind. Henceforth, the film being titled Armageddon. To solve the impending doom of the human race, the government and NASA enlist the help of Harry Stamper.
The fate of the world is in the hands of blue-collar deep-core drillers, who have no experience with space, to shuttle onto the asteroid to destroy it. The film starred Bruce Willis and an ensemble cast including Ben Affleck, Owen Wilson, Billy Bob Thorton and many more, but where are the actors now?
12 Jessica Steen (Co-Pilot Jennifer Watts)
Actor Jennifer Steen played the role of Jennifer Watts. She is a co-pilot with NASA who is in charge of helping get the boys in shape for space travel. Watts is no joke and shouldn't be messed with. She takes her job at NASA seriously and sees the impending danger of the situation at hand.
Steen's most current film work is the 2005 film Left Behind: World at War as Carolyn Miller. From 2009 until 2012, she played Donna Sabine in Flashpoint. She also appeared in Republic of Doyle and Bullet in the Face in 2012. She also plays Lisa Stillman in Heartland (2007-19).
11 Ken Hudson Campbell (Max)
Max is a member of Harry Stamper's drilling crew who bravely takes on the mission to save the world. He is played by actor Ken Hudson Campbell. Campbell is still in the acting business and has taken part in many film and television shows since Armageddon.
In 2017 and 2018, he appeared in the films Above Ground, The Trouble With the Mistletoe and Adolescence. Campbell voices the character Boomer in the animated show Adventures in Wonder Park (2019-20). He also plays Mark Armstrong in the film What's Buried in the Backyard.
10 Michael Clarke Duncan (Bear)
In every crew there is the big guy, the guy is physically scary to approach, but is the biggest sweetheart. In Armageddon, this is portrayed by Bear who is played by actor Michael Clarke Duncan. The hilarious scene of Bear ripping off his hospital gown and showing his bum while dancing while have you laughing.
Duncan is a recognized actor in his role as John Coffey in The Green Mile (1999), as well as Daredevil (2003) and Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby (2006). Before his death on September 3rd, 2012, Duncan was in The Legend of Kung Fu Rabbit (2011) and In the Hive (2012). He was also Leo Knox in the shows Bones and The Finder for ten episodes.

He was in the film The Poison Rose (2019) and 6 Underground (2019). On television, he played Artem in LA to Vegas (2018) and Godbrand in Castlevania (2019).
8 Liv Tyler (Grace Stamper)
Grace Stamper grew up on oil rigs with her father Harry and was raised by his crew. She still grew up to be a lovely young woman who happens to fall in love with one of her father's crew members. Grace Stamper is played by actor Liv Tyler.
You would recognize Tyler for her role as Arwen Undómiel in the Lord of the Rings film trilogy (2001–03). She is still acting, with a role in the 2018 film Wilding as Ellen Cooper, where she also acted as producer. She was also in the film Ad Astra as Eve McBride. On television, Tyler played the main role as Lady Isabella Fitzwilliam in Harlots (2018) and plays Michelle Blake in 9-1-1: Lone Star (2020).
7 Owen Wilson (Oscar)
Owen Wilson plays the cowboy character in the crew named Oscar. Like his other crew members, he is brave in taking on the mission but is terribly afraid on the inside. Owen Wilson is still a popular Hollywood actor after Armageddon.
He reprised his role voicing Lightning Mcqueen in Cars 3 (2017) and in the video game Lego The Incredibles (2018). He also took part in Wonder and Father Figures in 2017. On television, he played Father Ra-Shawbard in Documentary Now! (2019).
6 Steve Buscemi (Rockhound)
Rockhound loves working on the rig for the good pay and change of scenery. He is played by actor Steve Buscemi. Buscemi has a long list of film roles before and after Armageddon. He voiced Daytrader in Transformers: The Last Knight (2017). In 2018, he had film roles in Nancy, Week Of and Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation.
He had a role in the 2019 film The Dead Don't Die. He will also reprise his role in Hotel Transylvania 4 in 2021. From 2010 until 2014, Buscemi played Nucky Thompson on Boardwalk Empire. In 2018, he had a small role in Elena of Avalor. He also plays the main role of God in the comedy series Miracle Workers (2019).
5 William Patton (Chick)
Willaim Patton played Harry Stamper's right-hand man and friend Chick. He also works on the oil rig with Harry. After Armageddon, Patton continued acting in various works. Recently in 2018, he had roles in the films Boarding School, An Actor Prepares and Halloween.
From 2011 until 2015, Patton played Captain Dan Weaver in the show Falling Skies. In Shots Fired (2017), he played Sheriff Daniel Platt. In the DC universe show, Swamp Thing (2019), Patton plays Avery Sunderland. He also does audiobooks with The Outsider by Stephen King being his most recent one in 2018.
4 William Fichtner (Colonel Willie Sharp)
Colonel Willie Sharp is another NASA astronaut who is in charge of preparing Harry and his crew for space travel and procedures to destroy the asteroid. Fichtner has appeared in many films including playing Eric Sacks in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014). He played General Joshua T. Adams in the 2016 film Independence Day: Resurgence.
Fichtner in 2018, had roles in the films 12 Strong, The Neighbor, OG and Armed. He was also the director and co-writer of the film Cold Brook. In 2019, he had a role in the film Finding Steve McQueen and was in an episode of the show Veep.
3 Ben Affleck (A.J. Frost)
Ben Affleck played A.J. Frost, the love interest of Grace Stamper and the youngest member of Harry's crew. This was when Ben Affleck was a total heartthrob in the film industry. Ben Affleck has since made a long list of film and producer roles after Armageddon. In 2014, he was the starring role in the psychological thriller Gone Girl.

Affleck is also known for taking on the new portrayal of Batman in the DC Universe films. He portrayed Bruce Wayne/Batman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) and Justice League (2017). Thornton has gained success with various roles including Friday Night Lights (2004) and playing Lorne Malvo in the first season of Fargo (2014). He reprised his role as Willie Soke in the 2016 film, Bad Santa 2. In 2018, he had film roles in London Fields and A Million Little Pieces. Starting in 2016, Thornton plays Billy McBride in the show Goliath.
1 Bruce Willis (Harry Stamper)
Harry Stamper is the film's main leading role and is in charge of his crew and oil rig. He is also more than happy to shoot at A.J. after finding out he is dating his daughter, Grace. Stamper is approached, as the most experience deep-core drillers, to destroy the asteroid. He is played by actor Bruce Willis.
