Sam Heughan & Richard Madden Among Favorites To Replace Daniel Craig As Bond
Daniel Craig has already confirmed that he won't be playing James Bond anymore, as No Time to Die -slated for release in April - will mark his final film as the iconic British spy character.
No Time to Die will mark Craig's fifth film as 007. Two months ago, he surpassed the late Roger Moore as the longest-tenured Bond actor, having taken over the role back in Oct. 2005. He's held it down for nearly 5,200 days and counting.
While we await the release of the milestone 25th Bond film, fans of the historic movie series continue to await the announcement of Craig's replacement. Some have even speculated that a female will be cast as the next 007.
It's unknown when Craig's replacement will be chosen, and when it will be announced. For now, we're left to merely speculate on who will attempt to fill the shoes of Craig. Plenty of big names have been linked to the role, but absolutely nothing has been set in stone.

But according to Ladbrokes (h/t the Daily Express), Starz star Sam Heughan is listed as the favorite at 5/2 odds. Richard Madden - best known for playing Robb Stark in Game of Thrones - is second with 5/1 odds.
Tom Hiddleston and Idris Elba, both of whom have been heavily mentioned as possible replacements for Craig, carried odds of 5/1 and 6/1, respectively. James Norton is behind them at 7/1, while Tom Hardy - who portrayed the merciless Bane in The Dark Knight Rises - shares 8/1 odds with Jack Lowden. And finally, Michael Fassbender, Jamie Bell and Chris Hemsworth are listed with equal 10/1 odds.
There are plenty of great options to choose from, but again, we'll simply have to wait a while to see who Craig's replacement will be. These seven men all have the necessary acting talents and tools to portray 007. But for all we know, none of them will be cast as the next Bond. We just have to stay patient while the focus shifts towards Craig's farewell as Bond.
