Tom Brady Jersey Sales Heavily Increase After Signing with Buccaneers

Tom Brady has always ranked near the top in NFL player jersey sales, and his decision to leave the New England Patriots for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers hasn't changed anything.
According to Fanatics (h/t Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk), Brady jersey sales have increased by 900 percent. The new Buccaneer was also the No. 1 player (any sport) for total jersey sales on Friday.
Citing a spokesperson at Fanatics, Tom Barrabi of Fox Business added that the Buccaneers were tops among all NFL teams.
Brady was the leader in "player-identified merchandise" in consecutive years, per ESPN's Adam Schefter, but Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs surpassed him this year. The latter led KC to a Super Bowl LIV championship this season, winning MVP honors for the big game as well.
Brady's arrival in Tampa Bay promises to change everything about the organization from a business standpoint. The Bucs will certainly appear in more prime time games, and Brady's jersey sales aren't going to slow down any time soon.

After Brady signed with Tampa Bay, the demand for Bucs' season tickets notably increased. Tampa Bay frequently ranks near the bottom in NFL attendance, but Brady is poised to change all of that - being the most accomplished player in league history and all.
The soon-to-be 43-year-old announced through social media this week that he was ending his 20-year tenure in Foxborough. Brady officially signed a two-year contract worth $50 million (all of it guaranteed) on Friday. The deal includes $9 million total in incentives plus a no-trade clause.
For years and years, it looked like Brady would finish his career with the only NFL team he ever knew. But as Joe Montana, Joe Namath, Johnny Unitas, Brett Favre and Peyton Manning showed, even the all-time greatest quarterbacks aren't untouchable. It's time for Brady to prepare for what will likely be the final stop in his illustrious NFL career.
