Millionaire Rapper Travis Scott Launches Own Seltzer Line

It's been a little over two months since Travis Scott first announced his latest collaboration with Anheuser-Busch for a line of hard seltzers and now, today, there's an update on the launch of Cacti.

La Flame first teased the drink at the end of 2020. Now, alongside a clip of Travis touring the headquarters, they are showing fans inside the workings of the upcoming beverage from the multimillion dollar rap star.

Travis samples three flavors of the agave-infused seltzer brand including strawberry, lime, and pineapple. Offering a glimpse into the creative and manufacturing process, he tells viewers they are witnessing “the best of the best.”

Cacti is on its way to your local retailer and, on March 15th, we can all get a taste of the flavors.  Brewed in Los Angeles and at 7% alcohol per volume, the new venture is made with premium blue agave from Mexico.

Aside from rapping, if there is one thing that Travis Scott knows, it's collaborating. He has partnered with big-time brands like Nike, Jordan Brand, McDonalds, Fortnite and others, making him one of the most prolific stars across multiple genres.  For 2021, the platinum artist has aspirations seem even higher and Cacti is a big part of that new year of opportunity.

Back in April 2020, Travis hosted a number of concerts via the pop culture video game juggernaut known as Fortnite. The three day event saw 27 million fans, one month into a global pandemic, tune in.

In September, alongside the McDonald's empire, Scott joined up to release the $6 Travis Scott meal. The oddly specific combination consisted of a medium Sprite, a quarter pounder with bacon, and fries with barbecue sauce. The meal had limited release ending in October. The fast food giant also teamed with Travis to release a line of "Cactus Jack" clothing.

Cactus Jack is the name by which Travis is often referred. Not to be confused with former WWE Champion Mick Foley, a wrestler with the same name, Travis's ventures under the Cactus Jack brand have lead to wide-ranging reach and appeal. It's also the inspiration behind the name "Cacti", his upcoming hard seltzer release.

Ventures like this are what makes Travis Scott a star to keep an eye on as the future continues to open up for him. In a society where celebrities are more than just actors, singers, or performers, Travis understands that he represents a brand. There are fewer out there making more of their brand than Scott is.
